If You Could Combine Fifa 09 and Pro Evo 09!

Just thinking if you could combine the 2 what would u include from Fifa onto Pro?

Mine would be Apart from Licences would be the Fifa Arena and the Menu System that Fifa uses.

What about the rest of u guys???

I don't like the FIFA menu system : slow and confusing.

Online mode & licenses are the only 2 things where FIFA is better hands down.

I like it but I don't think that is essential to a footie game.

• The animations.
  
• The physics (I mean where the players are shouldering eachother for the ball).
  
• The new header feature - where you have to really time your header - instead of just holding down the button right away.
  
• The finess-shooting-button should work the same way - that be; you hold the button before/while you shoot - and not the way it works in PES, where you set the powergauge and then quickly have to press the right trigger.
  
• Player animations for calling for the ball, when running in position for pass. (granted - I don't know if that is implemented in the final build).
  
• Licences :blush:
  
• The keeper being able to throw the ball right away, after he has caught the ball.
  
• The atmosphere.

As you can see - nothing important, all minor things and none concerning the gameplay. That's pretty good! ;o)
(I have only tried the demo - not the final build, but it sounds pretty promising, after the not quite so good demo).

Atmosphere ( the crowd chants)
skills ( Use the trick stick, and add in the skills pro hasn't got)

I'd like to see the challenge brought back into PES.

As for what i'd include from FIFA, the licences (obviously), the better online play & also would like the arena loading screen.

OH YES!! I forgot everything about the penalties!!! The fact that you can use the finess-shot here too, so you can add more power and there's even a button for a special chip-shot in the middle of the goal!!! You've got so many options, when there's 3 different types of shots you can make - and the longer you let powermeter grow, the bigger chances are that you miss the goal. But if you don't give it much power, then the shot's going to be weaker and closer to the middle of the goal.
Penalties in FIFA are awsome!

yea but PES faces are all they have in terms of graphics. FIFA aint all that bad in terms of graphics. Althought the players do look a little like zombies. PES graphics although flawless, don't seem life-like... too perfect if that makes sense. I mean, the rough edges of the FIFA graphics add to the realism. I mean, what player hve you ever seen that looks like his kit has been painted on.

The atmosphere in FIFA is awesome aswell as the online play, I like the technique of the players when they shoot & pass etc. I find it a little too easy at times, but thats the only way in which I can criticise the gameplay.

if i could combine them i wouldnt, it would get pap, competition is what keeps games good and without a competitive market they could churn out any old crap and we would be forced to buy

I'd include most things from FIFA...

-licenses obviously
-the amount of leagues and teams
-some of the options available in the player editor (tape, shirt untucked, boots etc)
-online options

from PES;
-training mode (although bring back the 'Umbro Challenge' type things)
-team editor


overall:

the ability to create your own stadiums and downloadable content of stadiums, boots and things like that
