two games on the trott my attack has rose at the back post and headed the ball towards goal, ready to hit the net when the bloke on the line goes to block it with his chest and yet blatantly hits his arm and guess what NO penalty, the latter of the two incidents cost me a chance to appear in the WEFA CHAMPIONSHIP semis

i still havent been given a single penalty EVER on master league, and if benn playing it for some weeks now. even when it is a clear penalty the ref just lets it go. pisses me off!!

I had 8 penalties overall in all tournaments last season and I scored them all. The reason I know this is because Chilavert has 8 goals, and I don't put him on free kicks so this is the only way he can score.

I didn't have many in the three seasons prior to my 4th, but in that one I had quite a large amount of penalties.

Had one so far in about 10 games in my 5th season now.

its shockin me and me mate were playin on the same team on a master league and burchet took a shot and he kicked the floor and fell over we were so gutted but at first it looked like a penalty.But later in the game there goalie swiped castollo straight out and we still didnt get a penalty it was shocking!

Yeah ive got pens 4 handballs in the past, i avnt had a pen yet in ML after 3 seasons, but the cpu arenot likely 2 foul u are they? i play on five stars so i assume taht their AI is increased too so they wont bring u down.

UP THE VILLA!!!!

i play pes3 for abt 3 hours a night, always my master league and i have had 3 teams in all that time ive had 1 count um 1 penalty for handball :confused:

No handball penalties (tons of attacking-team handballs, both by me and CPU, in the penalty area), but I have had a lot of penalties, guess my version gets upset at dribbling in the area. :)

I've had lots of pens in the master league but not one came from a handball. I've not conceded any pens from them either though so i'm happy :cool:

Anyone else fouled a player outside the box by a good yard or so, and then have the ref give a penalty! Truely outrageous and over zealous refereeing. :mad:

yes, this is what i mean ROBBED, great example, i was playing my nephew i was inter he was ac milan, i fouled him he said ' dirty bastard' i said dont worry rivaldo will bang this freekick he agreed and said 'hes got a class free kick' the ref sequence happend and all of a suddend his bloke is standing over the ball for a peno we looked at each other and laughed..
mind you ive been given dodgy peno wefa championship final ronaldhino was running AWAY from goal , conbiasso comes runing behind and ronny drops and i got a peno i couldnt believe this fortune i was so shocked i miss the peno( well that the excuse im sticking to)

The handball feature is the worst addition to the game - it's absolute crap.
It's so frustrating because there's nothing you can do about it. You have a shot which is blocked and the ref then gives handball to the defending team when it comes back at you. Or you try and chest the ball down and he gives handball.
It's totally unrealistic cos it's very rare you get ANY handballs in a professional match.
Spoils the game a bit sometimes when you get 4 or 5 in a match.

I don't seem to have many penalities myself seem to give more away! Had one penalty given against me when Nesta handballed.

I still want proof that you can get Peno's for handball, i've had so many blatant ones and never got a pen, so i'm skeptical still

Can't give you proof but I had one the other day.
Shevchenko was back defending for my Master League as we were beating Man U, when they had a shot which hit his arm.
Luckily Van Man put the pen wide as I was FUMIN!!

i think tha handball feature is complete shit too, you cant do anything about it no matter what!! :mad: Konami have made 2 mistakes
1. puttin hanball system in permintly, they should have put a choice in for those who enjoy it :rolleyes:
2. if the ball gets a handball in tha box then it shouldnt be a pen, it acctually IS a free kick in tha box and your allowed to have a wall.
well this happend to alan shear last year, he scored!!
So far ive neva seen a pen from a handball. Best way to get a pen is just keep on driblling in tha box (with a guud dribbler e.g giggs, rivaldo) and if you keep on turning you'll either have a guud clear shot on target or there'll accently trip you over corsing you a pen!! :) it works all tha time
played 7 games had 3 pens :D

Hand ball seems to occur if you run directly into defenders, especially in the area.

I look at it as just deserts for poor control, like running into a defender. Or losing the ball in front of one who then kicks it up at your player's hand.

Anyway, I think penalties and the inconsitant advantage add a little random luck/unfairness to the game.

It would be nice to have an option (during the game) to take the free-kick rather than play the advantage.

And a full set of Ref Characteristics/Abilties...like 20/20 vision, strictness, and attitude to letting a game flow. Or have different 'styles' in different competitions.

This does all work the other way as well too. I was making a desperate lunge for the ball inside the 6-yard box, got the player first, bringing him down, then the ball. Must have happened on the blind side of the ref, because I checked the replay and it was a certain panalty.
