I'm sure you'll get the moaning cunts who say the addition of diving was a bad idea...its what happens, it adds to the realism of what is already a brilliant game, and things like this would make it even better.

What is already a brilliant game?! What you on about. This is a long way off being a brilliant game, its average at best.

Na, it would just piss people off if refs started making random wrong decisions. Like has salready been said, it would take a fair bit of programming.

yes it would be as annoyin as hell

also the most annoying thing on pes 2008 is the same as it was on pes 6 and pes 5 that bloody stripy pitch
you know the one i mean

i know EXACTLY the one you mean, every year i question why that pitch is in there. and i always notice its for smaller teams like blackburn to play at i think, cant they just put a small stadium with a nice lush pitch like the one in south america i think it is

To me what bothers me is the red cards. Last year they had it pretty good. This year you better make sure you take them out from the front because it seems like a 50/50 chance that you'll get a red between 90 degrees and 270 (0 being front and 180 back).

I hardly slide tackle because of this. Only when i know i have a good chance but sometimes i get that foul. Coming in at 90 degrees I've gotten red carded at mid field. A little bit harsh! :p

They had a brawling minigame on NHL 04 so I don't see why it isn't possible. Stupid idea to raise it though

But in hockey fighting is actually part of the game. In football if players fought in the way hockey players do they'd probably be locked up (see Barton vs Dabo and Bowyer vs Dyer). On-pitch fighting after every tackle just wouldn't be realistic.

Wouldn't work. You'd only be able to "program" the game to do it randomly without extensive work, therefore you could be 8 yards offside and go on to score a legal goal. Then again, so could the other team, which of course would mean the game was cheating everyone.

Mmm yeah, unless you add an IF..THEN clause to that random to have it apply only when the player is within X inches/cm ahead or behind the last man's line (yeah, they should also be able to call offside when it wasn't).

I don't think adding human error to offsides would be that difficult. At least not when it comes to those which are really close calls.

As for fouls, the refs in PES 2008 don't see some of them. They'd just have to add in a little more error and it would be quite satisfactory.

The refs should be given ratings. I owe my friend an apology about Kazuki Ito because I thought that all the refs act the same way. This is a random question but I dont think it needs a new thread: Does the captain you name affect how the team plays or does it just show him with an armband in cutscenes??
