No, that is very wrong.
The picture you posted is what you see just by putting your DVD into your DVD drive. After you use DVD decrypter properly you should see 2 new files in your C: drive:

DVDIMAGE.ISO (1,798,400 KB which is 1.798 GB)
DVDIMAGE.MDS (5 KB)

MUFCTILLIDIE - you need to go to google and search for Bit Torrents and how to use them. You'll need a Bit Torrent program to download the files you want, an example being Azureus.

Nice one, I've managed to create my patched image. I'm using Nero 6 to burn the image to a DVD RW, & the game keeps on crashing. Shoud i use:1 A diferent dvd burner, 2)A different type of DVD (they're TDK DVD+RW's)

any1 got any ideas, its driving me friggin crazy!!

Yay. The 3rd update's here! Off to get it now then!

By the way... to add the 3rd patch update, you cannot take the already patched disc and transfer its files to the computer and THEN add the remaining patches, or do you have to start from the beginning? (add first the v1, then the 20.10 update and then the 23.10 update?)

elgen - You should start from the beginning with either a clean image or the image with the previous 2 patches applied to it - if you didn't delete it. It might work as you suggested but it's easier to just do it from the start to be safe.


MUFCTILLIDIE - use normal DVDRs and it should work fine. Some PS2s don't like reading DVD+R or DVD-RWs.

Thanks for the quick reply, as usual, Zygalski. Yes, it's safer to start from the beginning, so that's what I'll do, to be safe... Heh.

Hmm... I've only used DVD+R's for my games/modded PS2 and they've all worked greatly so far. No glitches, bugs or errors, even if the file extension is *.gi etc. Probably a worthy thing to keep in mind, is that you should burn your patches/copy's at 2.4x speed (2x speed works great too) and not at 4x speed, as that may cause the burning ROM to "miss" particular files which again can cause you game errors.

Oh, and Zygalski... The download link to the 23.10 update isn't "connected", so you might want to edit the post so users can simply click on the link rather than start copy/pasting it, right? :cool:

Has anyone noticed that something is wrong with the flags in game? I don't know if it is the 15to20 update or the new 23update. I'm currently playing with all three patches. There nothing wrong on the teams screen - it's only in game! The flags seem to totally messed up!?

Umm... I've got yet another ? to ask...

I've now added all 3 patches, but I cannot see Scorpio's 1.1 option file in-game... why's that? Do I have to delete the old PESfan option file in order to make Scorpio's 1.1 visible? Or do I have to do something before I burn the latest update to the disc/DVD+R before I can get Scorpio's 1.1 file to work on my PES4? Or do I have to transfer Scorpio's 1.1 option file to my mem. card in order to get it? *so confused, yet again...*

Load the game without a memory card and you'll see the Scorpio file in effect. Make a backup of your current option file and then you can overwrite it with the one the patch comes with.

Yes there is something very wrong with a lot of the flags (and a couple of the kits) - hopefully it'll be fixed in the next update.

So, it's nothing wrong with my patching then... good. Umm... so, my PESfan save file is now gone. Once I started the game with the new patched game, I saved a new option, and that saved option file is Scorpio's 1.1 from now on, right? Man, I feel really dumb now, but heck... I need to know... :/

Yes that sounds correct.

If you can wait, I'll post an updated version of Scorpio's file where all the kit names and numbers are in the right colours which makes it look better. Hopefully in the morning or else Sunday night. I'll post it in the Scorpio file thread.

Hmm... about the chant question... are there any Liverpool chants in the patch? Like "Fields of Anfield Road", "Liverpool, Liverpool" etc? If not, maybe tell that to jonboyo, or?

Apply

1) Put your Original PES4 dvd in your PC dvd drive

2) Open DVDDecrypter, go to MODE /ISO / Read

3) Choose your destination folder eg origPES4

4) Press the go button (dvd->Harddrive symbol)

5) Open ppfomatic choose new pes4.iso- SIZE-1.71 GB (1,841,561,600 bytes)
(make backup copy 1st though!),then choose patch ‘pes4jb15.10.04.ppf’
->apply...........after a while it will be done.

6)Keeping ppfomatic open apply update patch jb15to20pes3.ppf (yes its named pes3 by mistake=typo!) to the newly just patched pes4.iso.....wait again.

7)Keeping ppfomatic open apply update patch jb20to24pes4.ppf to the newly just patched pes4.iso.

Open Nero –goto recorder->burn image->find patched pes4iso ->burn slowly (x2 at most)

Someone mirror the 20to24update for fu.... sake. It's almost impossible to get it from lomungtung - Im only on 25 % and it has been running for 4 hours now!!! Someone must have the small 6MB file - and then mirror it or make it a torrent file - so everyone else can get it - before PES5 is released :)
