The way Beckham does that skill with his foot over the ball looks great, and so does the manner in which he cuts back very quickly and delivers that cross to Gerrard. Gerrard’s technique for that header looks amazing. I also noticed that pass, the one which I read about, where the longer you hold the pass button, the further the ball goes, that’s a nice addition.
I wonder how many alternative methods there are when taking a free-kick.

Gerrard's dummy for the first freekick is so pointless and crap, he's foolin' no 1...pointless konami, it might make the replay look a bit better but otherwise pointless

i hope there will be the one where the player runs toward the ball but then he just go over the ball leaving the player stand next to the ball to hit the FK. and the one where the players runs towards the ball and back heels it back for a powerful FK. oh please let those features be in there

Watched it. Looks very nice, except the fluorescent green carpet for a pitch. And is it me or was it all MEGA fast? I hope that was in fast motion.
The passing does look good, point 5 showed a player using the outside of his right boot to curl a pass across the pitch. The crossing looked quite good and the header did look good.
Shame they couldn't just show a decent game play video without all the chopping of angles and shit.

Watching it again, Id have to agree with Flipper.
NOTHING to be excited about, complete over reaction. I think we wanted a gameplay video so bad, they could of released a trout fishing tutorial and we still would of gone bananas.
Didn't impress me at all. And to see they've still got the carpet pitch and brick wall nets just pisses me off, especially when they've had a chance to see what FK has done and try and work to improve WE8 to that standard.
No new exciting animations, that Beckham move looked like he was doing the fucking waltz, when do you see players play hopskotch in the middle of a football match? When do you see Sol Campbell doing roulette 360's to perfection in the middle of his own half.
Also, If you look carefully the goalkeeper dive looked as SHITE as ever, instead of making a full stretch one handed dive for a cross goal attempt like in real life, hes made some south american style double backflip cartwheel attempt to save the ball.
Added to that the whole thing seems like its in hyper motion, also there is one pass shown in normal camera view that goes across the pitch, it looks so fake its unbelievable, look at the guy who makes the pass, he looks like he breaks his ankle as he makes that pass.
Overall, extremely dissapointing. I like many others got a bit carried away and didn't study the video properly. Many many negatives and not many positives to be honest, quite frankly disturbing thats all we've got to see and its less than 3 weeks away.
