Ok from watching that one side-angle view video i can easily see where the game has been taken. It seems to me that they are edging closer and closer every year to the beginning FMV graphics. Though not there at all, it's amazing to see what the ragged PS2 hardware can still pull off. The stadium looks grand. The player models/animations look very WE stylized now. And the overall gameplay looks to be edging more toward (again) the fmv opening sequence's fluidity. I haven't had the chance to play the Japanese version ofWE7:International, but really see the difference between WE7/PES3 and the Us's WE7:I. It just seems more polished and fluid. Yeah the grass looks like carpet chew,but I'll let the fellas at Namco quench my fetishs for that. But WE8 really looks better than any other WE series game so far. Now how long before Aug 6th? *decides to sleep for the next couple of weeks*

They're movin onto a DVD and only 20% new animations? That means I'll be playing the same shit over again?

OK, we saw one new header animation, new dribble, new cross style and wtf?

It took'em 1 year to add that + 5 new stadiums and 70 teams?

I bet they just took WE7IJ and simply started making WE8 from that..

Look at the game when it shows the normal camera view, its exactly the same except faster.

There is still hope, but nothing to get excited over yet I'm afraid. You can't help but feel dissapointed, even those praising that little video I'm sure would of been expecting more.

When will they learn football matches aren't played on carpets :(

Probably not, unless they provide some proper gameplay videos. I'll probably download it and if its up to scratch (and by that I mean evidence of a years worth of development) then I'll order the game. If not then I'll play with a downloaded version and keep my pennies to myself, if they haven't put the effort in they don't deserve it tbh.

I do not agree with you... You cannot judge the gameplay of this game by 2 minutes of video in where they are only single views of the potential of this game. The last year the same history... a video between Korea and Japan and don`t see nothing special... but when play the game... all change... is the same ALL the YEARS... and i see the same opinions again all the time...

First PLAY the game... and no a 5 minutes... or only one day... play the game so much and then you see if are or not dissapointed with KONAMI.

I bet to say: WE8 is a better game between all of the games of serie WE... you see in a few days more... ;)

I only can say... THXS KONAMI AGAIN!!!!
