You could in theory therefore, have a 30 year old Rooney, and an 18 year old Zidane playing in the same team. Does anyone have the imagination to put up with that? I don't think my 9 year old sister can have such a wild imagination as to see this as acceptable, hell - players with infinite life spans like right now is more acceptable than that. At least everything is in equilibrium - this idea is simply farcical!! And im truly shocked anyone can sit here and say that they are happy with such a feature.
@ Lami : you are right to say we shouldnt write the game off before we have played it, but please understand this is simple reaction to news released by Konami. And to be honest they have made this feature pretty clear and therefore it is something we can discuss in more detail as we pretty much know its going to be in there.
Lets just hope in all our hearts that the person who translated that mis-translated it and we've all got the wrong end of the stick. However I wouldn't put it past Konami to come up with a shitty idea like this.

You see, thats whats been bugging me, rooney and zidane in the same team yet rooney is older...does it get any dumber!!?? would love to hear what the peeps that back this idea have to say, hehe...Jumbo me old mate, still think the idea is good? lol

When deciding who I want to play, I won't be looking at names - It won't matter to me if I have an 18yo Zidane playing behind 30yo Rooney. I'll be looking at stats.

In fact, I can't wait to try the new system out. I'm excited as hell.
They'll probably bring zidane back with a name like martin zidane for example instead of zinedine if u know what I mean, and u could just pretend like it could be his son or something like that. It does'nt really bother me, nuthing to worry about. The main thing they need to work on is editing coz I dunno about all of u, but my fave thing do is editing in the game. I just hope they dont lose the good gameplay as it is well better than Fifa (e.g 100mph blasts from the half-way line). I think Konami are starting to work on the other stuff like editing and licences for kits etc coz they've got the best gameplay for a football game even though some stuff could be better and all they need now is the smaller things like the licenced kits n that and it would be the complete game that not even Fifa could rival.

I've just been browsing the Japanese forum. I translated this bit of news.
* 6 Star Difficulty in WE shop costs 1500 WEN
* Added time length will appear in the top left of the screen (i think)
* Loading time is about 5-10 seconds from tourament setup screen to game.

when we7 came out i think zyg and some of the guys over at evo-web did a translation of the menu screens pretty much as soon as the game was released so the translation wasn't much of a problem. Although the transfer options were hard to understand. maybe the same will happen this year before a translated patch is released.

It won't be that hard to understand the menu's. They have changed quite a lot by the looks of things so it will take some getting use to.

The music is the least important factor of the game for me. Like GFK said, we always change it ourselves.
