How do you all expect it to look so different on a stupid video camera? Also, the perspective WE is played at means it NATURALLY wont look much different to its predecessor. And anyway - how different can it look? Dont be stupid.
As for playing on carpet, obviosuly you've never been to a good stadium or something. A good pitch DOES look uniformly bright and lovely. Go to St Marys, for example - its won picth of the year - and its a lovely pitch, all year round.
Gameplay - we cant tell. And whoever said its shit is an idiot. Even if its only a bit better than PES3, it'll still be the best thing around. I personally agree that some new animations might have been nice for some of the things, but again, we havent really seen it yet. And anyone who plays PES4 for anything but the gameplay, well, go on, go and play FIFA and get off this board. Its stupid to expect something so radically different. PES3 LOOKED similar to the original PES, let alone PES2 from that viewpoint, but as we all played it, we soon realised how much better it was than the first two. And I firmly believe we will find the same again. Stop whinging. You al say "Like WE7i but a bit better" - what more can you ask for, as long as it is a bit better? This is a series. It isnt a new game - but if they keep improving it every year, I'll be a happy man. It was never going to be brand new, and we all know that, so why start now? Just because it doesnt look like real football yet. Shut up. I think the new things, and all the other little additions like (apparently) crowds to match the team more than ever, and better atmosphere, and licenses, graphics, menus - all these things taken as a whole will mark yet another step forward for PES and WE, and mark another year of it being simply better than anything else out there so far.

rkinder, best post i've read on this. been a way for a day or 2, but just seen the vid and i think its outstanding. All we can comment on so far is the graphics, new stuff and presentation. NOT GAMEPLAY ITSELF, simply cos we havent played it. The FKs looks great, animation looks class, graphics look crisp. Dannyboy is right about the speed, its a recording/FPS/resolution thing that makes it look super fast (believe me i know a thing or to about video editing) What else? crossing and heading looks great, pitch looks fine!! ref on pitch!! i mean this is progress guys!! not all the improvements are gonna be obvious from that vid, that will come from playing the game. So far so good though, I'm not expecting too much, but what I've seen is defeinately good news.

No inside curled shots. Again. Once again having to withstand the complete awfulness of their "always-outsidefoot-shooting-routine", gentle button touch or not... It can be seen in the first video( WE United goal) . Overall presentation looks class, nets look the same( Different colours, yes) and finishing moves seem again the "Achilles Heel" of the game...( in my opinion, downhill since W11 6fe). ANYWAY ,it will be the greatest football game to date, and will reward all of us who so deeply love the game...WE DESERVE IT...shame about the waiting process
