On Act 4 now. Those damn cut-scenes last forever, I ended up waiting about an hour just to save my game and quit.

SPOILINGS BELOW...

Playing the original MGS at the start of Act 4 brought back the memories...

Question about Metal Gear Online.

My copy is from region 3, so does that mean I can only play with people from that area? Or it depends on the location that I chose when creating a Konami ID?

The game is region-locked, so yah, you can only play with people from your area.

It sucks, it was the same with Army of Two. What fun is playing online if you can't pwn some annoying yanks? :blush:

I have a chinese PS3,does that mean i have to get a copy of the game from over there to get it to work online?

Man this game is intense. I feel sorry for old snake though he is so broken. I'm only on act 2 now and killing everything ninja style.

Don't think so. I had a copy of GTAIV region 2 and I can play it online. My PS3 is a Japanese version.

I think the region lock only depends on your game, not the console. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Whoa what a game :) Spoilerrr



Highlight of the game: Raidens first fight with Vamp, simply amazing to watch. Also his second fight in the split screen thing was cool to watch.

I think my index finger is broken after mashing triangle so many times trying to get through the microwave room. Classic Konami :)

The bit with Psycho Mantis referring to the PS1 was pretty funny I thought.

On a side note, how good i the M4 once youv customised it :D Its unbeatable :)
Oh, and is it stupid that I've just noticed that the Naked Snake you play as in MGS3 was big boss? I thought it was a young Solid, and it never clicked for me til now haha. Finally grasp the storyline :)

Currently on my second run through, aiming to get no kills and no alerts. So far, so good after act 1. I wish there was more tranquilliser guns.

On my third run through my aim will be to kill absolutely everyone (militia included) on The Boss Extreme. :huh:

I'm doing no kills/no alerts on Boss Extreme at the moment. Rather challenging, but good to do :) Just finished Act 1, concentration levels are so high !
