I was wondering what sort of music are we "treated" in PES3 this time round? Along with the commentary i've thought that the music in PES games has always been a bit... well, shite.

Is there any Queen? How's the starting menu screen music?
And how is that goal scoring tune?
Please don't tell me it's that fukking horrible DJ ÖTZI type shit-trance tune again!!
Or the menu music in PES1... (that guitar!!! horrible...)
when will KCET get it that if they want a good background music with a beat, don't make it too annoying? also for the love of god stayyyy out of Trance! Some GOOD electro would be better.

Watch the PES3 Intro and decide for yourself if it's good enough. I think it's fine. Nothing spectacular, nothing terribly bad either.

The menu music is average too. Better then PES2's, I think.
The goal replay music at the end of every match is, however, very well done. Most people will be pleased.

Turn the game music off and play your own CD's in the background. I somehow doubt Konami got Rammstein, so that's what I'll be doing.

The replay music is a similar tune to the one in PES2 but with a more 'epic' feel to it and it has a good build up to it. I like it. :)

If you want to patch the game, you can choose any tunes you want.

PES3 intro song

Does anyone know who's the artist of the PES3 intro or has the mp3?..i think it's a uplifting beat..i only think it would be better if it a had a few vocals....such as like Dj Sammy(heaven).

As far as menu music goes, i think PES2 had it quite ok. PES1 as i said, had a HORRIBLE menu music, and the Goal-replay music in PES2 was shit as well.

And what comes to trance, it can be done good of course, but PES2 replay tune was the most horrid example of so-called trance that you can get. Like some of you said, it needs to be harder and most def less cheesy.

It's weird that instead of making background music that doesn't piss you off even after the millionth time that you hear it, KCET seem to always put in tunes that make you want to throw the telly off the balcony after the first or second time its ever played!

Over the last year i've gone through different emotional states when i've heard the PES2 goal replay tune.
First i was annoyed. Then furious. Then i panicked everytime after i scored and quickly pressed mute. Then my remote died.
Then my roommate started to get pissed off with the tune.
Then i started getting amused by it. My roommate got even more pissed off.
Then i put the volume on max from the telly everytime i scored and celebrated, singing the tune out loud.
Then my roommate buggered off.
And now i'm just numbed by the whole fukking replay.

oh well...

I agree, reply music is pathetic. :eek:

But I think PES1 music was better than PES2. :)

Can anyone remember the SWOS music in the menus? I thought that was not too bad - it had a bit beat.. :cool: :rolleyes: :cool:

I agree with SWOS completely! Almost wrote that in actually. SWOS menu music was perfect, very pleasant.
Plus the game simply had the best career mode in any footie game to date...
