It will play some games well, but not the monster games are due to come out, will play games like a year or 2 old, and back, but i dunno bout game that are released now, that require a big card. 64mb mem is good, if the card is decent too, but the geforce 3 is really underpowered now, so i dunno how much the 64mb ram will help for some games.

Well my PC is bust at the mo and i am getting some new parts, I need a new mothereboard so i need a new cpu, RAM, cooler and case and i just price it up on overclockers.co.uk and here are the prices.

AMD Duron 1.8ghz (Socket A) OEM (CP-068-AM) =£24.00
CoolerMaster Centurion - Silver (No PSU) (CA-042-CM) = £37.50

Total (including VAT) = £149.46

I am keeping the sam hard disk and i am buying 512DDR from my mate for £10 and the 64MB card for £20 and i am keeping all the other PC card etc. from my old pc to keep the cost low. So is this cheap? It seems cheap to me :D

I got

p4 3.06 ghz
512ddr ram
geforce 5200 256mb

When I play in a match, it plays normally and then suddenelly goes into slow motion for around 3-5 (or sumtimes 10) seconds. and then bck to normal

Thsi happened after I installed the konami patch (v1.3 or sumin like zat) and I added the man utd kit using afs exp + i added the champs league song to the entrance. b4 i did this it wrked fine

I've got to disagree with you on that first point on this thread. Anyone with a GeForce2 MX card can run PES 3 fine. But there is a glitch. If you change the graphics mode to low quality, the game has no slowdown problems what so ever. and you can crank the resolution up to whatever you feel like. Mines set to 1200x1000 approx. it's only when you play a game in the weather or at night when you have floodlight effects that you really notice too much difference

I will emphasise, that I am not claiming that what I've written in my guide is accurate, as it states "rough guide" if you can run it with a geforce 2mx, then that's great, alot of people though, cannot and will not due to other restrictions, such as cpu, and memory etc. Could you post up your system specs, as to give an idea of what you have, that works with the gf2mz. I am surprised though, that you can take the res up to so high on a geforce 2mx...which of course is sub Ti.

So in conclusion, everyone cannot run the game with a geforce 2, as every system is different, and will produce different results.

Paul B has a 32mb card (same as mine) and he can run pes3 (on low settings of course) so with a 256 radeon 9600 surely it will run mint with all the trimmings. ;)

I have an Athlon XP 2500+, with a NVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti + 512 MB Ram and the game runs smooth as silk at 1024x768 with all options at full

Do you mean 291Mhz? If so do you mean the core or the memory of the card? Come on folks, the more details you post the more I can help! ;)

With the new patch and the details on low, the performance *should* be playable. Really don't like the look of that FX5200 though.

Hey people.
Im thinking of upgrading my graphics card and found a GeForce FX 5600 for £68.91. Is it worth getting, or is it better to save some more and get a better one? Im not a working adult so I cant spend the likes of £100 +. Any help you could give me would be very much appreciated as my current card is just BAAAAAAAAD. ( I dont even know what its called, I just know its something to do with an SiS 650 motherboard or something).
