I disagree, i've had WE7 since its been available for import and i had PES3 2 weeks before release. I find I enjoy PES3 alot more. I had a quick go at WE7 after playing PES3 last week and I couldn't get in it at all, i definitely felt PES3 was better. Plus its got an extra trick in it :p

sure, it's only my personal feeling, but still..
of course, this new skill addet to pes3 is nice (and useful too :) but overal fluid or "smoothness" i find better in WE7, also in PES3 seems hard to diferentiate who's good dribbler and this same about speed of payers ..imho..goalkeepers for me looks more realistic in PES3 coz he makes more mistakes (just like real life football :) in some way or other, i still stay with winning eleven

i agree with Danny, i went to have a game on WE7 to see what all the fuss was about (found out last night my mate had it for 6 weeks and didn't tell me) and i couldn't get into it after PES3!

Your opinion mate, and your entitled to it!!!! but i dont think its that different difficulty wise. Pro Evo can be infuriatingly difficult at times and then easy in the next match, i think players morale has a bigger effect than people give it credit for on season!

when taking a corner kick how do i choose which centre back i want to be in the box to have a chance at the header?

not sure if you can mate, you can try to make one of them more agressive by setting their defense level "low" and putting an attack arrow pointing forward, but i'm sure that just makes them more attacking in open play!

A quick question...I haven't got round to the Master League yet on the game, but does it allow 2 players to have their own teams this time round...or is it still one player (or two on the same team) only?

couple of questions

hi guys, i think i will get my hands on PES3 pretty soon well i think. Since i live in the UNITED STATES and this game will come over seas so it will be like 20 days or so to get here but my question is this....Does this game have online play , and does it have continous clock or does the clock stop when the ball goes out for a throw in?

Are you referring to the PC version?
The latest news is that there will be no online play - but it *may* be possible for someone to hack the game to make it playable online. We don't know yet.

The clock does stop when the ball goes out of play.

yes its for the pc version, and one other question do i have to watch out for anything since im getting the game from EUROPE, i mean the language will be english or not because im in the UNITED STATES.

I believe that the game will give you the option to change language but they should all contain English as default.

Hey guys - I think this is the right place for this :) I have a little problem......

On the Formation Settings screen (where you pick your team etc.) I'm having problems with the coloured arrows that you ca see after pressing R1 (or maybe R2) a few times.

Here is a typical conversation before every Master League game.

Friend: Ah, Zidane is on a blue*, but Totti can come in because he is buzzing**
Me: What about Ronaldo?
Friend: He is on a green and will play, although Kilnsmann is buzzing and could come on

*=a blue arrow next to his name means he will be sluggish, his passing and shooting will be sub-standard and overall he will be bobbins. Anyone on a blue will not start the game.

**=if the players arrow is red then he will almost always start. They will play very well.

So we understand what they mean, but we dont have a clue how to dictate the colour. Playing game after game (and getting a great match rating) doesnt help this at all. We have noticed some patterns, but nothing to really go on.

Another thing........

The green bar is physical condition. We know this. But the thin bar underneath this is causing us some problems too. Is it a teamwork bar? Ive seen it about 10% up and a few occasions but never more. How do I sort this out aswell?

Any help would be very much appreciated. Sorry fr the length of the post, it just needed explaining :)

Thanks. Ian

The coloured arrows for player form are always set randomly unless you set them manually before an exhibition match. You cannot affect them in Cups and (Master) Leagues so you just have to hope you get lucky.

The reddish bar you mentioned is the player fatigue bar. The higher it is, the more likely a player is to get injured and I think he gets tired/loses stamina/physical condition quicker too. Example:- If Michael Owen gets a high bar for fatigue, a bad tackle is more likely to injure him than before.

There are a few players who will do a good job even when on a blue arrow. For me this includes Shevchenko and I can sometimes play him when he's on a blue. But usually I go with the form arrows like you.

Sorry, I don't know that one. I think PicturePerfect or mutu may be able to help with that one. Maybe pm one of them.
