Official PES 2009 Demo Feedback

What game are you guys playing?? the defenders are rapists in the demo i'm playing, very little time and space, getting 1-0, 0-0, 0-0, 0-0, 2-0, 2-1, 4-0 > probs my best win, apart from that they all really tight games.

I'm not finding it easy to score that many either.

Had a go at the "BaL". It's very cool. I was Ronaldo. Forget tracking back! I was just standing on the half-way line calling for the ball all the time. Set up one and scored one :smug:

I didn't think I'd even consider doing a season on BaL but I look forward to going a whole career with a player now.

great game improved alot cnt just run past plyers. got to pass your way through, weired to do tricks and the keepers r still not good enough only 2 bad points, be a legend is good esspecially being ronny.

Played the demo and i can't give the full review being a demo but from the matches i've played i see a vast improvement in game play.

Passing is more realistic long shots, crosses are far more life like swerve on the ball players look up to the player they cross too which is nice to see.

Players track back, keep their shape, block balls.

Half time players walking in with shirt movements little add ons have made it so much more pleasing.

Although saying this things will change when your playing ML and you have wingers with 95 speed and acc. I'm sure you could still get down those wings albeit alot harder.

So far it gets an Archie MacPherson "Woooooooooooooooooft!"

Yeah, there's always something wrong.. It's too hard to score, too easy to score, etc, etc..

Just want to know, is it harder than PES6??

I thought PES6 was a great game, but there where far too many ways of scoring Goals. I'd like something slightly harder and Realistic.

Anyways, like what I'm hearing so far.

Played the FIFA09 demo as I cannot download the PES09 one.. I think it is a very very slight improvement on EURO08, wich is quite enjoyable for a given time -but- it just gets boring by the 7th game, just isn't worth buying in my opinion.

I played 2 matches so far, against R. Madrid and Liverpool. It ended 0-0 and 3-0. I think it's alright.
I really hate the sound effects. From the menu where you select which team to play to that annoying sound from Be a Legend mode. It makes me feel that I'm playing an arcade game. I hope that it can be turned off in the final game.

really ? can everyone remember the differences to last years Pes demo and final release ?

Im PRAYING they sort out the sliding tackles, ive made perfectly good slides and get men yellow carded etc

other than that, the game is tip top

I can, i absolutely hated the demo last year, i think i played it twice then fucked it off, but i loved PES2008 final release, so hopefully it will be the same this year as i do nt like this years demo either

Do the ol' pause go to main menu trick. Do it when it hits injury time in the second half.

I've forgotten plenty of times when I'm really into the game, especially when playing with mates. God, we have lol'd at that happening.

I don't see any main menu trick. Can you tell me where it is?

He means, just before the end of a match, hit the pause button and go to main menu, then you can skip that annoying video.

Ah. All this time, I've been pressing the pause button once it hits injury time and then resume the game.

I have played the PC and PS3 version. They are quite similar to each other on the 2 platforms. The player's run feels unrealistic, motion tends to be "rigid". Compare to PES2008 ( a crap really !!),
it has been improved but still not good enough especially for the PS3.
Will miss it this time.
Allow me... try play the FIFA 2009 , pc version. That's the game...

Played the PC demo, a few of my thoughts.

-Ronaldo's a beast
-Refs are strict as heck
-Goalies spill far too many easy scoring chances (most of the goals scored so far have been like this)
-My keeper got beat at the near post a bit too many times (a couple of times it went through his legs!)
-I'm find it more difficult to clear my area against the AI during goalmouth scrambles than previous versions. I may just need some practice

Overall it feels like the PES I know and love though. My only real gripe is the keepers, I hope they sort them out. I may actually get it for PC for the first time as I'm still holding out for a cheaper PS3.
