Ahh..ok, well I actually didn't "threw it out the window" because I'm very careful about the environment..
I actually gave it to a friend that is a complete FIFA fan (he hates PES because it's to hard..and so on..). I asked him to test it and if he liked it he could keep it ..giving me some doe in-between off course. Well he loved it.. took time of work and so on, is that a sign ? ..well I shouldn't even go there I think? ..well I go there anyway. Because when a pee brained FIFA fan that love the fast ..faaast arcade style football that doesn't require any skill loves PES3 ..ahh well.
PES2 rules, ..that's football, PES3 is a mistake.

OK guys. We have a thread which is specifically for the comparison of PES2 and PES3 so let's try and use that one. Let's leave this thread for others including newbies to let us know of their impressions for PES3 only. You could be scaring them away right now.

Well off course I'm aware that PES2 has it flaws, but I was hoping that they should take core of the game and just tweak the flaws away.
Actually I'm not that amused over the graphics either..and really if a game is good the graphics come in second hand.
I mean I got the sense that some players 'hovered' over the ground like ghost some times ..not really connected to the ground.
The (quote) "ping pong" feeling when you do some passes is awful, and the goalies action look like some sci-fi thingy more than football.
This is just MY thoughts ..to fast ..lack of feel ..and dosn't raise any hairs on my arms. A disapointmnet in my eyes.

Sorry didn't mean to make this into a PES2 vs PES3 thingy.. didn't know about the tread either. But off course in bedded in my comparisons are my first impressions !

Got PES3 yesterday and it seems canny.
Its a little different to PES2, and it'll take a bit getting used to, but all the minor things from PES2 that needed improved have been, and bar the names and kits, it seems as near to perfection as you can get.
Probarbly the best game of the series, although I must admit my have ISS/PES game is Iss98.

My impressions are that this is an excellent soccer showcase. And as with all good games my gripes outweigh the good
My loves:
* Gameplay is smooth and its paced just right.
* The new kit editing is fantastic it gives you a perfect buzz if you are a create a holic like me
* It feels like real soccer, and it plays like it too. Goals are hardfought and won properly, and if the other team scores you know they deserve it, even if they are the CPU!
* Some annoying passing quirks still exist but for the most part the game is much improved over PES2.
* Its more difficult for those who have only played CPU before.
My gripes:
* No conversion of PES2 created players into PES3 even if all they wouldn't be registered.
* The stutter bug is there and it is very apparent on some televisions. From my testing with the same first edition bought midnight first night of sale PS2, the stutter bug is less noticable on some tellies and not as noticable on others. This is pretty weird I admit, but I was able to play on my LG telly just fine but on my housemates old JVC it didn't work at all. Thought you guys would like to know before you rush out and buy new PS2s that I beleive it is the television and NOT the PS2 that is the issue.
* no proper club names
* the new inital master league squad is too good by half. there should be an option to raise/lower their abilities to suit the way you like via a handicap system.
* Heading is a lot harder.
* No challenge for experienced humans in single player.
* Although it plays so well, it lacks the atmosphere present in the earlier games. Its the presentation I think and the graphics engine, it doesn't look like PES. It plays like PES, but I still can't convince myself I'm playing a PES game.

Hi Guys, I have just got get this over and done with, can people just stop and realise something(because this is driving me mad)PRO 3 Is awful,compared to WE7,we have been duped big time,i couldn't sleep the night before launch day for PRO 3,and i was so gutted,has anyone noticed the size of the football,and the fact that you cant always see it when playing the game!! It just felt like a glorified FIFA, so i got hold of a copy of WE7,and its totally different, a good ball size for a start, the shooting is spot on,even the sound of the crossbar is quality,i just hope other people who have WE7 will back me up here, PRO 3, is a let down,just try WE7 !!!

Hopefully as i play more my opinion will change but at the moment i rate PES2 better than PES3. How good is Adriano for Parma he is one of the best forwards on the game and i got him on a free transfer !!

Well as you can all see im new to the forum and have been playing the Pro series for quite some time now...I got part 3 with the ultimate cheat update from play.com.
The Difference in the game is way much better then the previous version. ball physics,graphics now options are all cool. Mind you im a bit confused how michael owen is captain of england and david beckham as very very poor states ah well.
Anyway im basically stating PES3 is a fine example of what fifa is lacking. WE7 was a great game, but thats had its time. All i can say is make way for greatness

I dont know if there is already a thread for this, but could anyone help with some affordable master league players. Im prague and hav about 8000, ive just started it so im still in div 2. Miranda and castolo are so annoying, im gonna get kallstrom in the next window based purely on his champ man pedigree. i've noticed okocha and eto'o on the list but i'm reluctant to splash the cash.

i just spend an hour reading through each msg in this thread. Our dear admin seemed to responded swiftly to each msg, which gave negative comment on PES3? i thought all opinions were welcomed, espeically those comments comparing pes3 with we7.
Be honest to all of your guys. i am i us and haven't had a chance to play pes3, but i have been playing we7 for almost 3 months and i loved that game.
PES 3 seemed to change a lot from we7 from many folks input, faster pace, stronger header,
stronger shot power and easier dribble, where every of these aspects in we7 were just fine, especially the randomness of power and direction of the header and shot, just like in real game.
Good shots and header can still be well executed after practice or by a quality player.
i am not sure if the pes 3 change some flaw of
we7 ( my personal view), which i thought could be easily corrected.
long groud pass was deadly accurate. especially compared to the short pass
defender took the ball away from possesser too easily by shoulder charge.
180 pivotal turn was too quick, especially in sprint mode, it can virtually be execuated in no time from spring, stop, one foot step on the ball and turn... where is the momentum??
i hope those problem be fixed in PES3.
if not, i can only say that Japanese always leave the best for themself
i definitely encourage u to find a copy of we7 somewhere,
(don't feel guilty since u 've paid it for pes3)
patch it and enjoy it. forget about english commentaries, it's the same anyway after 50+ games
if pes3 did fix those problem, it will be the best game even with those unnecessary change from we7.

fifa series will never be too bad if they just add
a simple random factor into the shooting to make goal harder.
