Yeah, I knew that it happened in previous games, I just wondered if it was something related either to what the stamina stats vs minutes played, or the actual movement on the pitch.

I know in PES2 it seemed to be just based on games, rather than exactly how much running was actually done.

Zyg - what do you mean about not being able to buy players in the first season? You mean because you have to wait for "Bosmans", or just cos you don't have enough points? My mate just texted me to say he landed Seedorf after the first few games, and balanced it out by selling a couple of crapsies.

yeah, i bought Ronaldinho after 3 games last night! i sold 2 crap ones and went 3000 in debt, but then over the next 4-5 games made it look a little more respectable. should be able to manage to regain by end of season. but it was worth it to get a flair player with pace and a good free kick (just ask good ol' ponytail prat, david seaman)

a question for all those who played beta, is final vers slightly different? i cant put my finger on quite what, but it just seems a little different

p.s i told you i'd get one of the french one's from play.com to top my week off

okay arkaig, let me explain the sarcasm in my point. i knew what the capital of peru is, however the guy said he had pes 3, the in his next sentence he said "ask me any questions" and as a p*ss take i asked him a completely irrelevent question to be sarcy for the sake of it. Okay?

while i'm here can somebody explain why my time is 5hrs behind even though i just checked my user control panel and i'm on london time, YEAH LONDON IN 5 HOURS TIME

Brillant the best ever

I like the new strip edit system it makes it alot easier to edit the kits

Handling is the smoothest ive ever played on, the players reactions to situations are better and its alot harder to score which i think is the best part about it coz this means youve got to play proper football instead of sprinting down the middle

Im on my second season on master league in division 1 with man utd. Ok, after a whole afternoon and evening with PES3 here my first impressions.
Not many changes to WE7, what is quite good I think. No more negative points added to those from WE7. Some things are improved. In my opinion the players move a little bit more smooth. Crosses are better( harder) than in WE7. There seem to be stutter bugs for some people, I had 2 or 3 in 2 hours when I had a fully crowded stadium, stadium effects on and the commentary on ***. I turned off the commentary and had no problems with stutters.
In my opinion dribbling is a little bit easier, and I noticed that the triangle button is very effective. The keepers are still very weak, the handball is still in the game, and its still crap. The same thing with the advantage rule.
I would say that it´s a "must have" for everyone here who hasn´t WE7, people who own the Japanese version of PES3 should think twice about spending money on it.

I played PES3 for the first time against my mate and I must say its the best football game ever.

I was Juve and my mate was Barca, with 3 minutes left (of a 15 minute game) I was 4-2 down, and somehow managed to score 3 in the last 3 mins plus injury time to win 5-4. Then I beat him again on penalties and I noticed that it is much harder to save penalties than in PES2. Even if you dive the right way, you are beaten by pace. I kept square down whilst aiming for top right corner, my mate Leon dived the right way but still scored. Finished up winning 11-10 on penalties (Steve Simonsen with the winning penalty :p )

Overall it's a great game and I can't wait until it's out on PC :D

Oh yes

Oh my word, its better than i dreamed it would be. They have made it so much more realistic and the volleys are simply breathtaking. Im pleased to see all the rights have not yet been secured, im a fan of ridiculous names and find them hilarious (takes me back to the days of Riggio and Colliuto). I have one thing to say FROIBAAD is a dutch legend
