ive been playing my ass off for over a week with PES3 and its just simply amazing! ball physics and body physics are just top notch now, and all the types of dribble u can do now, even make combos by urself if u get the hang of it. and taking control over the keeper is great, also takes a lil time to get hang of.

only one thing makes me sad about it, the refs "play ahead" rule, it is very buggy at times. too many times the tackler runs away with the ball when at the same time the "advantage" icon blinks for the guy that got tackled.

should have been a toggle on/off for that one.

but of course, PES3 is ten times better than PES2 in my opinion, will never stop playing, never, never.

until PES4 comes of course

why are there no subs or managers sitting in the dug outs or on the bench? Highbury looks stupid with the empty bench! Also on master league how come i lose loads of points straight away even thought i'm not buying players from other clubs?

Iv downloaded the demo of PES 3 for pc and wenn i tryd 2 open it it was asking for password (file is in .rar ) What is the password??!

pes3 is a huge improvement over pes2.pes2 was to easy even with the extreme mode in ML I would like to know what are the major differences between pes3 and WL7

ive just noticed a nice little touch...
when you win the master league div 1 you get a small gold star over your badge.... another star is added each time
an uneccesary detail, but still nice to see

Why are the players on PES3 so short and stocky built?does the camera angle make a difference.pes2 broadcasting angle was the best so far.

Why has Konami suddenly fucked up the offside system?!

The offside calls are always PERFECT i PES2 (but the camera angles are often useless) but in PES3 there are quite a few totally wrong offside calls - especially when you hit a long ball from the defense towards the attackers.

Has anyone else noticed this bug?

Yeah, some calls are quite bizarre-o. What bugs me more though is getting called on hairline decisions all the time - I'd prefer a bit of leeway - 'in line with the last defender' shouldn't be consistently called offside.

Having played it more there is only one major flaw I find in PES3.

It is way too addictive....

Best ever GAME, let along footy sim.

As a side note, I have seen nothing of a stutter bug and I have a TV powered by Coal it's that old!!

Lucky I guess.

God i am so pissed off!!!!!! Just been promoted on my first season with Sparta Prague, really happy, had decent points to buy players. I bought about 3 "free" agents and it made me go bust and game over, so a whole season wasted cause the transfer system is shite and not explained properly!!!
Can anyone explain why i lost all the points?
aaaaaaaaHHHHHHH i'm going to throw my controller against the wall now!!!

I noticed as well that I lost a lot on "money" buying a free agent. I checked the manual which said transfer points are not required for free agents, so the next ones I tried to get I set transfer fee to 1 (wouldn't allow 0), but not one of them came, despite quite well improved wage offers. Yet again, Konami....so near yet so far. PES3 is great, the best football game I've played, but it has too many poorly done aspects to be the best game ever.

PES3 is the best football game ever IMO! its like Konami have gone back to their roots! i dunno why it seems like it, in a way its just so retro and similar to those Sega football games! its excellent! i just dont like how slow the fastest running speed is for each player!

which one is better??
i remembered i insisting on we7 last week,
my view did change a bit after i played it for the whole week
since u must have been heard or discussed enough about the two games,
why don't u give everybody a summary comparing the two and
ur personal opinios and from others u know of good at playing
we7/pes3.

RAGE!!!!! its hard to get the lead ball off the com players, plus you cant make a tackle with out getting a red card. its a big step up from PES, i'm trying to carry on playing it, no promises.

I can't understand people who say they'll be sticking with Pes2... Pes3 Is so many lightyears ahead, Pes2 couldn't catch a glimpse of it with the hubble telescope.
