If your DVD is still a "Backup" then it should still include a DVD check as it still is a DVD....

If you go beginners guide to patching in "General Editing" forum. It should be in the readme provided. Get the program to remove the check.

I said you should follow the PES3 Ripping guide, here, follow it step by step, don´t leave anything out. Don´t know what you need to play it with the slide-card, jag can answer this question for sure ;)

Thanks for the help Larsson! Tried the beginners guide again and found I may have done a few little things wrong initially! Tried burning just a CD image without any patches and it worked! The slide card and CD version 3 worked fine and now I'm off to try changing kits etc! Thanks again everyone for your help and the great guide - if anyone's stuck and needs a copy of the guide "idiot style" (i.e like me! Including what you should see on screen at each stage = 100% fool proof!) then let me know cos I wrote EVERYTHING down in case I mucked up!

I try agian beacuse i cant find the answer..

Hi...its like this...i have burned the winning eleven int jap wefantasy X patch.And it works great.But...i want a new team so i want Partizan kits instead of Sampdoria.So I opend the DATA_E from the bin and i did the this 2 times

1:4 bin kits of partizan that i import with ASP.
2.BMP file of the kits wich i import with WE mod center.

both times it didnt work...when i put the DATA_E.asf back in the bin and burnt i played the CD in my PS2 BUT when i choose sampdoria the game just freeze...why did it freeze...i really need the Partizan team in this patch and what did i do wrong..plz someone help me with this

question: I've on my ps2 winning eleven 7i JAP. within 2 weeks i get an max drive USB memory stick, who is compatable with pc also ps2. How can i patch my WE7i with names in english and other patches ?

A max drive will let you transfer files between your PC hard disk and your memory card. That's IT! It won't patch your game for you.
Download option files that have been edited - using the ingame edit mode.
Save your replays to your hard disk.

To patch your game, read the sticky threads - you need an original of the game and patch an image of it on your PC and burn it onto CDR and play it on a chipped/modded PS2. Max Drive and X-Port DON'T patch your game. They let you transfer and use downloaded option files and other memory card files.

Patching is when you make the game show you kits with sponsors on and real advertising boards and new types of boots and edited stadia appearances and more like new menu screens and new in-game music. To patch the game you copy the 'image' of the game from the original disk onto your PC before then applying the patches which are made by others. Or you can patch individual parts of the game yourself using the guides shown in the sticky threads.
X-Port does not let or help you patch. But a good X-Port option file used in conjunction with a good patch can give you the ultimate game. Check out the pictures of patched PES3 thread here for examples of what can been edited with patching.

I am stil playin the redux 2.0 and was wonderin if there is a later patch out already?
sorry 4 dis stupid question cos i only juz started gettin into dis patchin stuff, most of the times my friends do it 4 me...i heard there was one out with all the euro2004 updates is tat rite? does it have the new boots ie white f50 and the new nike 90 III?

I don't think we'll be seeing an English patch for WE8 for a couple weeks at least. I wish it would be sooner but if I remember, that's about how long we waited for WE7.

I've got the WE7I option file but how do u change the players name to english and i can't seem to save ,iam shit at japanese and i swear i try all the menu but i can't find the save mode on option file or after playing any matches can someone please help me
