OK I 'm posting this info cos it happened to me, maybe it will happen to others. AQt first, I couldn't use the patch (ppf-o-matic would give me a message "can't open c:\...blah blah....ppf). If you get a message like this check the name of the .ppf file and make sure it does not contain spaces and the "é" in the word "Olé". That's what the problem with my file was, zyg.
It's a great patch and an eagerly expected, too. As is the final version. Nice work on the slowdown thingy. Thanks to everyone who's worked on it.
PS. I have a little question. Can somebody tell me what the problem was with the keeper not having a kit on?
I seem to have the same problem in some kits that I inserted by myself in the patch. And although the ones that I extracted from an old data_e.afs (WE7) were OK, the ones that I found on the internet turned out to be invisible in the game. Anybody know a way around this, or, at least, what causes it?
