yes i have. and sure you can shoot with the outside of your boot, curl the ball and side foot it, but it all seems so random, you cant dictate what foot the player will use in a certain situation, when they should use there left foot they do an awful outside of the foot shot with there right, as for 30 yard thunderbolts, having played the demo for a long time ive never seen one, they usually just swerve helpelessly over(go ahead and say its because im shit) but its not, no matter the situation or power i put on this happens. the one thing i ilike about FIFA in comparison with PES is that you can do different types of penalties, such as chip, blast or side footer.

right lets get back on track with your original post, why dont you make a good argument by comparing the players faces, get a pick of say ronaldinhos FIFA and Pro face and post them side by side ect

The outside of boot shot is not random. Players with one footed ness will use their outside of the boot of stronger foot if the ball is on the weaker foot. This is in the stat and also a trait. Likewise, if they have good weaker foot stat, they will use both feet depending on the side they are on.

And it takes practice to get the long shots right. Fiffa has long been criticised for making long shots too easy as you can score from anywhere. So why is it that you are unhappy that the usually swerve hopelessly over? Most long shots in real life do. It's about taking the right opportunity, body position and shot power. It takes practice. Im not saying youre shit, but thousands of people have mastered it, so it shows it can be done. Also, what's awful abou using the outside of the foot?

well i would say if you do that then you should also add Messi to the equasion as of course EA would spend more time on ronaldinho than pes as he is on the cover, so add messi and there is a comp

de rossi??? nah... neutral would be a lampard, puyol, torres... a bit more near the top of the spectrum...

and i said both messi and ronaldinho as they are both cover stars so it would be the best comparison to do both...

Both are good but the pes screens are a bit dull. Still the face and body are better than fifa. If we can find some pes sceens that aren't undrexposed, it would have been better though.

de rossi is a big player btw, he's the first name on the italian national team sheet.

i know PES put effort into Daniele De Rossi, havent seen him on FIFA yet. btw i hate De Rossi for elbowing in the WC, hes a good player just an arsehole!

i think the PES ronaldinho would look better if he had his headband on.Ballack looks a little like he has downsyndrome on FIFA (no offense intended to those who may suffer)

I like PES because of the game play... yeah graphics and details are great but to be honest it doesnt make a difference if they get sgana's hair the right length or not... It is all about how it plays and for an arsenal fan to say otherwise is quite suprising

How's that a fanboy comment? If I was a fanboy I would refuse to play FIFA and play PES no matter how bad it sucked. I dont care about brand names and have no loyalty to EA or Konami, I just want the best football game available. Konami can't afford to cut corners with player faces, etc.

I know about each italian player very well. I watch serie A the most.
Yes to me pes looks better in player models but those screenshots are very dull hence the loss of lighting effects on the face and kit which takes away the WOW factor. Believe me. I think they'll look much better than that. I saw a video of AS ROMA and DE rossi looked much better in the field with proper lighting effects.

De Rossi is the cover star for Fifa 09 in the Italian version of the game.

I will say that even though the PES faces are much more realistic than Fifa's I was impressed by some of the faces in Fifa 09. The problem with Fifa's graphics are the cut scenes. They are just too cartoony and completely different from the in games graphics. It all is just much too artifical.

That's exactly what I was trying to say, Most players in this still pics look almost Identical to PES08.. But, during Gameplay -the- Graphics look Improved, the lighting looks a lot more realistic.

There is no way FIFA haves better looking players. They look disproportioned, and 70% of the players in the game do Not even have their Real faces.

Another thing worth mentioning, is the "Cut Scenes" -the- Graphics during Gameplay and during Cut Scenes -are- completely Different. Isn't that cheating??

Anyways, Why doesn't anyone posts side-by-side Comparisons between FIFA and PES??
