Pes 2009 Ps2 Major Glitch!!!

got a copy last night after waiting a year.. then found 2 amazing glitches!!
1) when making a sub the player you actually bring on doesn't actually come on but instead is blacked out!

2) when you finish a match and wanna find out who was man of the match it just crashes!!

to be honest it seems to happen randomly but still..
Im so disappointed about this was really enjoying the game up until i came across this. anyone else have the same problem?

i never had the same problem

all the pes games ive had(3,4,5,6,2008) have never crashed had em all on ps2

You are right. I already had the substitution bug before. Just 10 minutes ago, I experienced the game crash too. Something else I experienced is that my Game Plan changed by itself. Yea, X button changed to "CB Overlap" by itself. Seeing Silvestre(CB) joining attacks I checked the game plan and I saw that for X button "CB Overlap" was selected. Maybe I changed it unintentionally?! Hope I did! Strange!

PS: I love the gameplay.

Ive had no probs with substitutions but i have experienced the game crashing when visiting the player ratings screen. The same thing happened to me on PES 2008 once or twice, but once its happened a couple of times it never seems to happen again. Its like the machine just needs to get something out of its system! I wouldnt worry about it too much.

glad i'm not going mad! What a crying shame. I hope it is just a batch of faulty copies or something. It has happened quite a few times now. Will be sending an e mail to Konami too.

Had the same happen to me too regarding substitutions.

Except in my case, the new player HAS appeared correctly on the pitch. It looks like the new player is just missing from the little cut-scene on the touchline.

It's a bug but nothing major.

I was playing a cup game and made 3 subs. One of these subs scored, then the players they had replaced came back on!! and then it crashed when i went to look at match stats...most strange. Has anyone swapped a copy and found the new copy to be ok??

Yea i have something similar problem on my psp. I subbed the player on and he comes on but after awhile my subbed players come back in and im unable to subsitute back the players i wanted to sub in . And after the match i blacked out and my psp auto off :realmad: Hoping its the game problem and not my psp cause my psp my source of pes !

on xbox360 in my ML say i rest my starting striker on the team management screen before the match starts, then i sub somebody off and a cut scene comes on, the guy coming off will often slap hands with somebody who should be on the bench whilst making his way off of the field. the sub is on the field in his full kit in the cut scene?

I have also experienced the sub problem.

Three times now I have made subs during extra time and found all three players back on the pitch with the players I have put on greyed out as if they are used.

Has anyone solved this by exchanging their copy in case it's a bad batch?

I have just seen the problem here!
I could not figured out what is the situation but when you substitute one or more players, sometimes the ones who were out return(!).

When it happens, every time you want to check the match stats, it crashes.

Man, one more reason to move to PS3...

If I was a conspiracy theorist I'd say they do this on purpose to get us to move up to the PS3......but I'm not.

Thought myself on the last two releases that very little development had been done for the PS2 version.

Anyway, I've emailed Konami, so let see what they have to say.

I got the same problem, the subs not appearing and the game freezing at the end of the 3rd game in master league when you try to look at player ratings. I've played several bal seasons with no problems.

I've also emailed Konami, although I'm not hopeful of a quick fix.

This would be a pretty major fuck up if every ps2 player has this problem. Is there any ps2 players who have not had a problem in master league mode?

hey there erm i have the same problem with my game on psp i sub player off then he comes bak on and then it freezes

when i first got it i found this problem and returned it and bought another one and the same thing happened so the new copy was bad aswell i bought both of them from GAME so i dunno if GAME's copies are faulty but i send a email to konami about it and called them up but they can't really do anything about it they said:realmad: did you buy yours from GAME?
