Correction: Classic players are treated as an extra/nuisance, they're also entirely under utilised and could be a unique aspect of PES.
Finally!! someone who actually understand what I'm trying to say.. for fucks sake! How can anyone call himself a Football Fan -while- at the same time say "Classic Players are just an extra".
It just happens to be that Classic are extremely Important in real-life Football, they Revolutionized the game in every Aspect; from Pele and the coveted # 10 shirt, to the Introduction of Libero by Beckenbauer, to "Garrincha" who was The Original # 7, to Johan Cruijff The "Total Footballer" -to- Maradona who is renowned as The Greatest of them all.
Honestly, I fail to understand How any Football Fan can think of this Legends as an "Extra", a "Detail".. I can tell you one thing, you tell a true AC Milan Fan that Franco Baresi is an extra, and he'll kick your ass.. And in the same way, I'm sure that once Paolo Maldini retires, AC Milan Fans would like it if he was Included in Future Football Sims.
In the same way, I'm sure Most Southampton fans (or EPL fans) would love it if Matt Le Tissier was properly Featured in the game.
But anyways, I really don't know why Classic Players are treated like an extra.. Clearly showing a Difference between a Football Amateur and a Producer.
And again, Fully Edited Classic Players with real Names and real Faces would give the "PES Shop" a New Dimension -as- Unlocking Classic Players who actually look like themselves would be a treat.
Even if your Not particularly fond of Classic Players.. Wouldn't it be cool to see a Peculiar player such as Carlos Valderrama in High Def Graphics?? Just for the sake of watching the guy with the Ridiculously Huge Afro in the pitch?
Oh well, at least Juan Roman Riquelme (one of the last, if not The last real # 10) looks exactly like his real-life counterpart.
