no that's not it but if you think that ,it shows how much you know about football and that's just it.

football isn't just the incredible dribbling moves and all the step overs that are available in the game.

it is about the individuals that make the game, make the team and all their different talents.

a lot of teams don't have a MESSY or a CRISTIANO and still with the lack of those individuals they are able to form strong teams.
FIFA lacks this.

the best dribblers in the world ( if you ask me )didn't use step overs to fake a player(MARADONA) some still don't (MESSY).
they use your body movement as a defender and anticipate your next move and that with their great timing, ball controle and accelaration are able to pass you almost at will every time and it takes great defenders to stop talents like these.
FIFA lacks this.(the physics for this are just not in the game).

players with a great shot especially midfielders are a threat and you have to be aware of their positions and shut them down fast so they don't get an open shot which can be devastating for your keeper.
FIFA lacks this.

midfielders that are able to pass great, read the game and have good ball control matter in football and if you don't really have one in your team it shows.
FIFA lacks this.
I COULD GO ON but people with football knowledge especially those that play football will understand me others wont that's why the ones with that knowledge choose PES and are very impressed that the sport we love so much is represented in such a good way that a lot off the bull...t as licenses etc doesn't really matter it adds to it but it isn't our main concern.
FIFA has this btw.(licenses )

your wrong but thats a nice long posting

Ok then end this fifa vs pes.
We know that BOTH fifa and pes has bad goalkeeping issues.
Pes has bad animations but fifa has bad ball physics.
All in all this year, both are good in their own ways and you play what you like best.
BUT HEY, 1 THING PES ISN'T. AND THAT'S PREDICTABLE.
PES is not predictable at all especially the we demo. You score unexpectedly while in fifa I know when I am gonna score. But there are other things I like in fifa that aren't in pes and that's freedom of passing (power meter).

pretty much nailed it on the head there Shaun. A very honest and unbiased assessment.

I agree, the argument about which is better could go on for ever. To put it in a broad sense, the thing I have always loved about PES is that every game is unique and you have to use your initiative. Fifa fans are probably sick of hearing this, but its true, and judging by the WE demo it has advanced in this sense. It is unpredictable, and it does require skills, and not just skilled dribbling, but more by trying to play the game as its meant to be. Total football. The last two installments have had some larger flaws than before which has enabled you to exploit the game, especially against the A.I. However against human opponents, the better you become the better chance to counter these few flaws (dummy shot and ronaldo in general)

Pes has always been able to reward really good total football, no matter what team you play as. Pes has a lot of depth, and the more you play the better you become. It becomes possible after playing the game for quite some time to take on the A.I and human opponents with teams like Saudi Arabia and win. There have always been so many dimensions and layers to Pes which has always had me longing for more.

It could be worded slightly better but i can deffinetly see what your getting at.

PES has always been the game for the real football fan. I dont mean the football fan that subsribes to MUTV and has every sky sports channel under the sun. I mean the football fan that PLAYS the game and understands the concept of it.
