PES 2013 Demo 2: Feedback, Impressions, Discussions etc.

Yeah, Fifa isn't perfect in what it does but then what game is ? There is none and the annoyances you claim for the Physical side of the Fifa game are still ever present in PES but for obvious different reasons.

As I have said before..........Both games have Pro's and cons and this gen IMO Fifa has been the better franchise. even if just for the changes it has bought to the genre over the last 6 years.

But Pes 13, based on the demo is going in the right direction and with the Fifa 13 demo in a week it will b interesting to read peoples thoughts and opinions.

The problem with FIFA is; You can't make transfers or any kind of editing.

You buy it for 500 SEK. Then you need to buy 3-4 updates during the season with updates for 79 SEK/update. It ends with the game will kost you around 1000 SEK = over 100 euros.

That is not ok!

Either you keep saying that because you like saying that or you have totally missed my post. It doesn't matter how much names you come up with or how man engines yo try to implement UNLESS they truly do work. In which case, even though Fifa has better technology, it still comes up short and tbh embarrassing in certain aspects like "Impact Engine". Seriously, that's called laziness. Nothing else.

I also said that Pes is behind in terms of technology when compared to other game, so I cannot see your point here.

You truly cannot get it can you? I also said that Pes has many things wrong. Where have I passed Pes as faultless? It's more like you cannot get what I'm saying about what's totally wrong with Fifa. Seriously, unless Fifa's teams start showing some individuality and the game start paying much more attention to stats, other than speed and strength, then we''ll talk. But until then, Fifa cannot be classified as a top game, because these are basic football rules and not quantum physics. And when a game gets basics wrong in something that it's trying to mimic, then obviously it cannot be a top game. Pes is a different story.

THIS, is also a huge, huge problem I have. Basically Fifa gets applauded for something that takes away Player individuality in favour of "illustry" player skill. It's like taking away a foundation of football. Manual does NOT belong in a football game. Semi-auto does.

Note I said "illustry" player skill. You know why? Because you don't need to be good at manual, because once you learn the stick movements, the input by the player is so minimal that you can score with your eyes closed. What I mean is that you move the left sick very little as i's over sensitive. But for me, the biggest problem in this, is the destruction of player individuality.

Glad to see you voicing your opinion on both titles...even if you lean more to Fifa like i do.

However, trying to make points to Shaun is really not necessary. The reason being that he does not play Fifa. He may have dabbled a little trying learn the game and found out how hard it is compared to PES and now is blasting the game about "fundamental flaws and strength".

If you have Fifa-ed you know bullshit when you read it. He knows nothing of the exciting challenge that Head to Head brings to fans...He is ignorant to the award winning Ultimate Team. Build, buy, trade not only players but Kits, balls, stadiums to create a unbeatable team and compete against the best.

PES has made very little improvement since the PS2 days and has lost over 2/3rds of its fan to Fifa. I don't hate PES the game ....i hate the furking developers...Seabass and all the pussies around him .that for over 8 furking years have failed to update the broken game engine that currently is holding back what once was the best footie game on earth.

I give credit where credit is due ..EA is trying to make Fifa a better game every year. It may still have its issues ...but these issues do not affect the basic core of the game. We run, we pass, we shoot with freedom. We defend with freedom. I have never faced any players too strong to defend against...have you seen any?

Finally, the numbers speak for themselves. Fifa's daily online count is in the millions compared to PES 4 or 5 thousand.

The table has turned. PES is now a game for old patriots who like to live in the past and speak frequently of PES5 or PES6 and casual gamers who prefers the robotic, ping pong, run fast and shoot hard type or arcadish games. As i have stated, back passes are not even needed and rarely seen in this game.

Fifa is for hard core gamers....its a pickup and play game but you have to learn tactics, style, finesse and of course a few tricks to play to stay current and be competitive on the boards. All Fifa fans know this.

I will not buy another PES until they change from the Ps2 game engine. Period.

Have you seen the Gamescon game for Fifa 13? All i can say is

PES is nowhere near Fifa this year.

It is a dumb-ed down version of PES 2012. Have you seen the tutorial on how to score from Half line during kickoff in PES 2013....just amazing

I have played Fifa up until Fifa 11 because Fifa 12 was just over the top with what I had mentioned was wrong with Fifa. I have played Fifa 12. Obviously I have, otherwise I wouldn't make such judgement about it. I said I played until Fifa 11, because Fifa 12 made me sick after 1-2 weeks.

Let me clarify. I don't give a crap about how many people play a game because that isn't really an indicator of a superb game. If you go down that route, then you're saying that Call of Duty is the best game of all time hands down. When in reality, it is an enjoyable game at times, but there are way better games out there.

And yes, I did ride a special bus to school because I can see through the gloss that others cannot, sadly.

Call of Duty sells more than most games also. Doesn't mean the game is good... Just means there are silly people out there who are blinded by the brand and just buy it knowing it will be just a rehash of last years games with different maps... Oh and the fact everyone humps zombies for some reason. Zzzz

Fifa outsells because of the licenses and EA pushes this shit more than anal sex... But yeah I am a sucker who buys both every year and the last Fifa I actually enjoyed was Fifa 10. PES has also been crap up until 2012, but even that wasn't better than most of the PS2 games. PES2013 though, well that is a different ball game...

Ok, the fact that FIFA sells more than PES, doesn't mean that FIFA is better..
Generally, what ever is widely advertised and having a good promotion can be easily traded, especially nowadays that people choose the "show" rather than what really worths.

I believe that PES 2013 demo 2 is the best of the kind which i have played over the last 16 years(from fifa 06 and ISS 2000 until PES 2012).
PES 2012 last year was a very good attempt by konami, to import the competitive vs CPU game...it has it's "bugs" as a game, but it was very good and difficult to get bored of.

I also believe that PES 2013 demo 2 is so widely hateful , because of it's level of difficulty...

BS. Worldwide it outsells PES 2.6:1 which is poor considering FIFA spend most of their time on advertising and promoting their product through various mediums. PES actually outsells FIFA in South America 4:1 and that 25 to 1 ratio is only for the UK
