I played some PES4 yesterday :cool:
It was probably a beta version - at least I'm HOPING it was due to the bad slowdown at corners.

He said they had the new promoted premiership teams in it and more updated squads I think. It plays quite similarly to WE8.

And you don`t even know if it`s a beta version or even PES4.

And what do you think I mean by "It plays quite similarly to WE8" - I only played one match on PES4 and I've only played a few matches on WE8. Not really enough to write an in-depth review, is it.

The PES3 beta version didn't have BETA stamped all over it, did it? With some time to go till release, I can't promise anyone that it WAS the final version so stop ya whining and wait for hitman.

Zyg is right, PES4 was playable at the PES3 national finals yesterday, on 2 Konami pods. I had a quick game near the end, it felt just like WE8 and also had slowdown on corners. I didn't notice the updated squads and new Premiership teams though because I just chose Juve straight away. I'm guessing it was a beta due to the release date being so far away....

Zyg and Danny, the PES4 at Stamford Bridge yesterday was DEFINATELY a beta version. I asked the bloke and he said the retail version should just be a little smoother with all the slowdown issues fixed, and apparently up to date rosters after the Sept 1st transfer deadline (now that would be a surprise!)
