So if there is no Editing kits will there still be updates for the 360 released on the net? If so I will deffinetly have to invest in an XSATA or what ever they are called

i remember a few years ago how pes was released and 2 weeks later an update disc was released by someone, selling at £9.99 from memory i think this disc came out two years running.
how did that happen does anyone know who released it.
and why didnt they get done.

Edit mode in PES 6 for ps2, found this one at evo-web:

This picture makes me think, in we9i (pes 5), there wasn't a separate section for emblems and logos, now, this opens the possibility that they will be selling this section at xbox live MP?, just like the new maps for GRAW?

With all the threads going on, I'm not sure if this is old news but I just got the new Xbox World 360 magazine (just out today) and from a quick scan of their 6 page review of the final game, they....

- gave it 90 out of 100
- said there's only 6 stadiums
- stated the International Cup Mode (i.e. World Cup) is definitely in it
- complained about the lack of license's but strangley they didn't complain that you couldn't change the team names
- all the staff members made a point about how the version they played in Germany (Leipzing, or however you spell it) was poor quality and exactly like the old PES, but they were bowled over at the improvements over the old PES gameplay & graphics of the final version compared to what they played just a month ago.

....with all the speculation over what's going to be in the game....

DIFFERENT STADIUMS
I am almost positive more stadiums will appear as buyable extras over Xbox Live Marketplace as this is something all companies are doing with their 360 games.

Oblivion is the classic example. About a week after Oblivion was released some new content appeared that they had managed to Miraculously complete in the short space of time since release, and more new content came soon after that. I think FIFA, Madden & NHL 07 are all doing the same when it comes to alternate shirts and Madden is offering some of the old classic stadiums.

I've heard a similar approach is planned for Singstar on the PS3 (I'm hiding my Credit Card incase my wife starts to think about it! ;) ).

So lots of game companies are holding game parts back to make money afterwards and I don't doubt Konami will be any different (although all they've offered for game Dead Rising so far is a snakeskin coat for your character). I don't predict the 30+ of the PS2 version, but I do think they will be add-ons.

EDIT TEAM
If they have put those Generic teams ('Team 1', 'Team 2' etc) in the 360 version that they've put in the PS2 version to replace the German teams, then they can't very well leave the Edit Team option out of the 360 game, as these Generic team names are there to be replace. Unless of course they don't add those generic teams into the 360 version......er..... ok, that's a good argument I just put against myself, I'll shut up now.

It's the December issue, issue 45 I think, with Ashley from WWE on the front wearing very little (I think that's her name). I'm couldn't believe it was out, I'm sure the last issue only came out about 3 weeks ago.

8 stadiums have been spotted in the 360 screenshots released so far, so it sounds like this mag hasn't been paying too much attention to the finer details.

although id probly buy the edit mode and stuff off live if it ever comes out but why should all us x box users have to pay for it. as people with ps2 dont have to pay for it its ok paying for extra content but not stuff they should have put in to start with

Dont think so, League C is not present in the x360 PES 6.
