I was thinking on pes2 the commentators recorded commentary so that when u edit it it says Man u instead of Aragon r u with me?

Well is it not legal that instead of having 'Manchester'and 'Turin could they not do Manchester United and Juventus surley if you edit it yourself its ok.

you could get brackley to say Manchester united and then u can change it yourself

They can't use it or they would have already.

A good way to get it in would be for them to let us use 2 or 3 words of the commentary names and 1 can be 'Manchester' and 2 can be 'United' or 'City'. Maybe that would work. But then it would sound weird in the commentary as they would sound like out of tune robots. But it's an idea.

I reckon a patch-maker could take the 'Manchester' and 'City' words and add them together and make this 'Manchester City' replace a slot for something silly (no offence but it's not needed in the game) like Rotherham.

On the demo i saw, their is new script which makes it sound pretty professional. Its not as good as fifa commentary however.

too right, a better commentary script is what is needed. I had a (bad) game the other night where it got bogged down in midfield and Peter said 'An interception' about 25 times in a row without saying another word. A better engine would have added 'Neither side can seem to control the ball' or maybe an orgasmic ' Ahhhhh' from trevor

Funny but true!

I don't like the orgasmic noises, Blue. But they can be funny when you're in a tense match and you're trying to concentrate and then all of a sudden you hear Trevor moaning away for no reason!

Those of you who have played the now legendary 'Actua Soccer 2' circa 1998 will have realised that although Trev's commentary was well scripted (probably by himself judging by the amount of 'when i was a player' yarns), his post goal/match ramblings had the undesirable effect of sending the player into an almost coma-like state.

At least his Pro Evo Orgasms raise a smile.

I think that the best commentary on a football game so far is on FA Premier League Stars 2001. It features Richard Keys, Martin Tyler, Andy Gray and Clive Tyldesley.

I hope most dearly,They recrute John champion from iss3 to do the voice overs.The good thing with this was that when a player shot ,He would say that players name.That comentry added a great deal to a game with many flaws.He also talked in minor detail about the player who had scored or who was about to take a freekick.When you were playing as Italy and you had Montella on the pitch,He would scream his name the instant he pulled the trigger.Really class stuff.Try iss3 ,If only for this reason.You will understand what i mean.This feature will make PES3 The king of all games.
