I think FIFA have the best commenators anyway - don't they have Motty and Andy Gray. I'd like to see Tyler and Gray, Sky Sports style. But it doesn't make much difference if the scripting is crap again.

Yeah, I think Martin Tyler and Andy Gray are the best commentary pairing on tv.

Yeah totally, no-one else even touches them.

What About Stuart Hall for the post-match analysis?

I think that Motty and Barry Davies are good but they're usually with a crap pundit. Actually I think Motty with Brooking is one of the best pairings, but BBC don't have the premiership back until next year.

I think the best analysis is from Mark Lawrenson and Alan Hansen. And Linekar is a good presenter. I'm a BBC Man!

I prefere BBC aswel. I don't really mid the ITV pundits/commentators but it's just those pissing adverts every 5 mins. However I love those little Coca Cola dudes! :p

I personally cant wait for MOTD to come back on next year. As for the best pairing on TV, Motty and West Hams Brooking. Except for when he climaxes on PES2.

I personally think they suck balls - i have to mute the tv when the bbc play football and turn radio 5 live on - alan green, jonathan pearce  lovely stuff.

I actually think the guy who does eurosport commentary - tim capel i think his name is - is one of the best commentators around.. pes3 should get him on-board plus he wouldn't be too expensive.

tim capel also knows all there is to know about european and world football and won't screw up any pronounciations or such-like  - like that prick who commentated on the european super cup highlights for the bbc the other day.. ru coshtey  its rui costa !!!!!!!!

The WE7 commentary name for van Nistelrooy cracks me up. He says "Van Meestelrooom" and I can't help laughing!"

Hopefully PES3 will have a slightly better name for him or I won't be able to play well against the mighty Holland! :)

on this version can u edit the commentary name cos' on pes2 u could only do it for created players for example you could find a name that is closer to van nistlerroy than van me(whatever)

or couldn't they just record the right names then u can change it yourself?

In what way ;) :p

You can edit all details for all players, including commentary names. I'm not sure if there will be anything closer to his real name but what fake names they do use now are better than the numbers they had in PES2.

Well, on the video of PES3 on PSW magazine's DVD, Van Nistelrooy's name is 'Van Mistelroom'. So, it looks like being the same on PES3!

My dream combo would be Jonathon Pearce as commentator with Stuart Hall as summariser. You couldnt get a more entertaining combo than this - i think the summaries of Stuart Hall are a match for the works of Shakespeare.

Failing that, good old Barry Davies did a good job in Actua Soccer so he would be my next choice. As for Motson, he just plain annoys me purely with his voice and also his mid-commentary orgasms. And the amount of English breakfast references during the world cup was just plain laughable.

Peter always cracks me up (and makes me lose my concentration) when he shouts "here's the bitch ass!" (I know that's not what he is saying but it sure does sound like that).
