My reference to Bill Gates was only to show he was a Geek and loved FPS's and RTS's like all Geeks do, and which I think should be kept to the confines of a PC in a basement of their mothers house so they can play them all day online, fragging their online "friends" and regenerating to their hearts desire

. I've got nothing against Bill Gates' monopoly so don't YOU jump on the "you don't like Bill Gates" crap which always crops up in the Sony v Microsoft debate along with "the controllers rubbish" and "its too big" which are all superficial anyway. From my perspective, I've got a bit of money, so I could buy it, I like playing the odd game, so I wouldn't mind the Xbox exclusive stuff, but its pony. I had high hopes when I heard the hype of the Xbox saw the initial screenshots (which turned out to be fake.) then it was released it wasn't that good, only Microsoft produced games were coming out, you have to admit that was a faux-pas by Greedy Bill. Then Halo the most over-rated game ever !!! then it nearly went under but Bill pumped more money into it and let them release multi-format games on there, and now all Xbox owners are waiting for Halo 2 Whoooppeeeee.
The Nintendo/Sega v ps1 is totally different, Sony released a console that kicked the arses of their competitors, with a new format for playing games on CD and a different attitude to the game playing public, going for the 20 something instead of kids. Sony blew them out of the water, and I don't remember anyone considering not buying one, it was a revolution. Now if the Xbox was that sort of equivalent to the ps2 I'd buy it, everyone would, but Microsoft and Bill have now realised what their Computer buying public like fancy graphics, latest hardware, hard-drive, quicker loading times, just general better numbers, like you with your frame rate and bilinear multi-processing thingymegigs, the console market don't they want games, I want games like pes mgs gt FF GTA etc......
