Could be slower.. Would feel more like a real soccer. I think i'm just going to skip this one and wait for the next generation version pes6 or whatever it'll be. For PC that is..

That'll be a long wait. I cannot even watch a PES4 game anymore. PES5 is so much better.

it' funny ....
when i play at 3* dificulty i loose at least with one goal, but with 5* i beat the cpu by 2 goals almost every time!
is there anything wrong?

Same problem here, pretty funny indeed. Just wondering what 6* will be like. :D

Will PES 5 have less noticable lag online for pc users??? And if the wolf does not come out of retirement, are there others out there who are as good as him who would? I loved his patch for pes 4 and we8i.

I think it's because on 3 stars difficulty the CPU is well organised in defence and they score more in counter attack. In 5 stars the CPU is trying to keep possesion more and attack more organised,so if they loose the ball the defence is open and easier for you to score.

I wanted to try what you were talking about - playing on 5* an see what happens - and not only i noticed that the CPU tries to press you and to create more attack chances, but i noticed that your gifted players can´t stand against the super-accelerated-ball-of-strenght the CPU applies to you. Here some things i noticed:

- CPU wins everything in he air
- your "not so known" players tend to screw up every time
- this screw ups are unfair; they are almost related to texture clipping (so you can see the ball going thru Diogo´s chest and right to Aimar´s feet)
- the CPU´s DMF position becomes an unbreakable wall, no matter wich player is in that position (albelda should be playing at ManUtd, he is even better than makelele even in 4*)
- the CPU loses all its realism when attacking, due to the over-accerleated way of playing, and the overuse of crossings.

I think that should be corrected, (i hope). This coud be a mayor flaw that can affect lone players (like me.)

Cheers

I disagree all that
-CPU is good in the air but using R2 i can win most of high balls
-for exempel Quincy Owusu-Abeyie was great when i put him on. He scored one goal and make fun of chelsea's defence
-haven't notice
-It is nearly unbreakable wall in real life at least players like Makelele or Albelda(waiting for Vieira and Gattuso :D). dont know is albelda better cause never played with any other than 5*
-i think CPU have many ways how it play and one is crossing game. for exempel if CPU is chelsea (2 wingers) that not even suprise. CPU uses manual passes i think because it passes unbeliavable passes sometimes(but you can do it as well)

The problem with the CPU's intelligence begins from the fact that the computing power of Playstation II is limited. The game runs in PC exactly like it does on Playstation using some kind of emulation and more detailed graphics. That's why the minimum requirement is only 800MHz processor as it was on PES3 and PES4. So Konami in order to make the game more difficult, made some tricks that sometimes are unnatural. For example, the CPU keeps possesion of the ball about 60% per game. There are too many fouls to stop the counter attacks. The CPU wins most of the deflections. Short passes are more accurate from the CPU regardless the quality of the player.Despite all these facts, PES5 is one step closer to the real thing and we will all get used to these minor disadvantages.

Hi People this is my first post,

I was just curious about what people were saying earlier in this thread about a "special move" that Zidane is suppose to have (obviousley not the roulette) does anybody know what this move is?

I've seen him making one of his trademark outside of the foot passes. I doubt thats it though.
