Just to throw my tupence in here.

I was an AM in Gamestop for about a year, i still have mates that work there. I can bet you all that the earliest you'll be able to get this game is about 3 days before the official release of Oct 24th. That will only happen though if you know someone in one of the stores..you could get it without a receipt more than likely and the lads in the store would have to hold off putting it through the til system til the official day. I know this cos i've done it myself for staff members etc..did it for PES3.

I seriously doubt Konami would release it a full 6 weeks early and not make it official..if they didn't then who'd know to go out and get it..why would the likes of Game, HMV or Gamestop not advertise it's release like the do every other game?

Just doesn't make sense folks, like some of the sane memebers here, i've set myself an earliest point to get it as the 25th of Oct..
