PES6 'radically different' from WE10

"Radically different"?

I'll believe it when I see it thank you very much.

Every year, I've noticed that you can switch seamlessly between each WE and PES game without ever needing to adjust.

I bet that when I eventually buy PES6, the only differences I'll notice are the updated kits and teams (i.e. extra licences).

THANK YOU.

For a while I was thinking Im the only one who thought this. Before Pro was very innovative and took bold risks/changes that made it such a great game.

I was about to say the same thing when I saw 'radically diffrent'. Im hoping that once ps3 comes out they will build a brand new engine for the game, because for now they are still using the same engine for the 360 version. The game has become very EA - esque in each years version.

Its sounding good and Im liking the reading on the new game, the finger waving and things like that are great to add realism to the game and Its not too far off release now...

In Scan 2. Does anyone else reckon that John Terrys face looks like Michael Myers mask...? (The picture where he challenges Adriano in the air)

A good read cheers for the scans and upload...
Im hoping a few things change from WE:10 which although played to death is flawed in areas.

1.Goalkeepers need to improve an stop dropping everything
2.Dribbling is too easy (but as mentioned in article being worked on)
3.Computer A.I choosing players in defence for you and then conceeding free kicks/Penalties happens alot more in WE:10 than in previous editions of series.

As for kits and everything else im not too fussed as the patch makers will sort that all out thankfully for us just hoping the mechanics get a slight tweaking.

I completely disagree. Yes you can get into it as you know the controls, but each new game does have it nuances that you need to get used to. PES5 was much slower then PES4 and for multiplayers especially, that changed the entire dynamic of the game. You could no longer sprint down the pitch with your faster player but you have to pass it around instead.

I think you've misunderstood my earlier post.

I wasn't talking about the differences between each WE and PES game that comes out every year (WE9 - WE10 and PES4 - PES5 etc).

I was talking about the lack of differences between the PES game that follows the latest WE game that's been released (WE9 - PES5 etc). ;)

This is what really gripes me. Konami think they can just keep bringing out the same game more than once during the same 12 month period and still expect people to go out and buy it.

Well Ko_nami what do you expect? Its ALMOST the same games for different regions. If you ARE NOT from Japan you SHOULDNT be buying WE10.But they do it for money really, but I dont care.

No kiddin. Be reminded that this is a business, and we are the consumers who buy the product. You think they really care about us so much? I think they're like ordinary busniess people. Make the product as cost efficiently as possible, but with just enough good quality to keep us, the consumers, buying the product.

I think the keepers are more realistic.

They drop a hell of a lot more on level 3 and below. Level 4 and up, i think it's realistic how they parry hard shots.

Also i don't think there are half as many needless free kicks given. For me, thats the biggest improvement in the game. Even better than the new player animations, which are superb!

I think they'll have to start adopting a new strategy.

Due to the increasing popularity of the WE and PES games all over the world, a new strategy would have to be adopted.

I believe that the next game in both series (within the same year) should be remarkably different to each other. This would surely increase the sales of both the Japanese version (WE) and the European version (PES) of the game.

It's not rocket science you know. It's basic supply and demand. ;)

are you mad? pes is 100000000% better than fifa, and pes 6 is using the same engine as xbox one simply cus its on the xbox and 360 the only difference is updated graphics/marketplace/ a few things the old xbox cant handle etc. pes 7 on 360 will truly be next gen cus by thne old xbox will be dead. and pes on ps3 will be pish just similar to xbox 360 but with out the content download etc, so pes 6 on 360 will be differnt in looks but not style. final!

Sorry but the true next-gen PS3 game will be far superior to the 360 game (I'm talking PES7 here). Purely because the Xbox is nowhere near as big as Playstation in Japan so they will focus on making the game first for PS3, and then porting to 360.
