are you mad? pes is 100000000% better than fifa, and pes 6 is using the same engine as xbox one simply cus its on the xbox and 360 the only difference is updated graphics/marketplace/ a few things the old xbox cant handle etc. pes 7 on 360 will truly be next gen cus by thne old xbox will be dead. and pes on ps3 will be pish just similar to xbox 360 but with out the content download etc, so pes 6 on 360 will be differnt in looks but not style. final!
No Im not saying FIFA is better then PES. There not even on the same level. But that’s partly the problem. Now that PRO is on top not just in terms of game play but also in sales, seabass has stopped taking the innovative turns and jumps in the series. Since pes3 I have found pro interchangeable. Now that may not be konami’s fault, as by pes3/4 or Winning eleven 8/9 they may have basically got as much out of the ps2 that they could. And since they do not make games natively on the Xbox platform the franchise has stopped being innovative.

Sorry but the true next-gen PS3 game will be far superior to the 360 game (I'm talking PES7 here). Purely because the Xbox is nowhere near as big as Playstation in Japan so they will focus on making the game first for PS3, and then porting to 360.
My point exactly. The next true pro game will be pes7 or the first winning eleven games for ps3. This is when I personally will see if seabass is still bothered in pushing football games forward, or If they only see the profit revenues from making the same game again. It will not be pes6 on the 360 because seabass in particular seems not to even care about the Microsoft or Xbox at all, he doesn’t even refer to it when talking about the next gen version of PES.
They were happy with it just on the ps2 it’s only because of the fact that konami the publishers, have control over what seabass does, that they made PES for xbox, because thy wanted more money. Also the 360 sales in Japan are non existent (It does worse than the ps2, gamecube, ds, psp and GAME BOY ADVANCE in Japan) and winning eleven is not released on 360, so pes6 for the 360 will be the same as the ps2 version but better graphics. (How much is also uncertain)

I doubt that mate ... Are you telling me that Konami are going to create a new game just for the PS3? I am willing to bet both my balls that the PS3 will be a port of the 360 - It takes Seabass and his boys a whole year to just get 1 game engine running on all consoles (ie. PS2/XBOX/PC & PSP) - I don't think that they will start a new engine for the PS3 alone, expecially as we all now that they are working on the 360 version - if there was a PS3 version in development it would have been announced.
There will not be pes6 on the ps3, but it will not be until the new ps3 version comes out that they will 'maybe' make a new engine. However as I say above there is a strong preference for the ps3 and they will not even bother making a new engine till it’s on the ps3. Though your right that more and more companies are now realizing being exclusive to one platform makes little sense, this is not the case with seabass. He prefers the playstation. And with winning eleven not being on the 360, it means that they will definitely not be making a new engine for the 360 version of PES, until the ps3 comes out.

I think the days of games companies being loyal to a particular format are over. Most games now are multi-format so you'd think that Konami would invest as much time in the 360 version as they would for the PS3 and PC. Fair enough, in Japan the PS3 will be far and away the market leader with their loyalty to Sony and all that, but in the USA and Europe the market share between the 360 and PS3 will be more even.
Konami would ignore the 360 at their peril. It has the best online set-up after all.
Not entirely true Jamez. Like I said before in lots of cases developers are indeed realizing this, and are making smart decisions doing so. But this is not the case with seabass. I dont know what it s about him and xbox. But I don’t think he even likes their being a PES on xbox. Sometimes I think he doesn’t even acknowledge it. An example is that he said that with ps3 online abilities they will make a good online PES. However xbox live has been doing what ps3 online promises for 6 years now, so why do we have to wait till sony sort out their online till we have it? In fact as you may know xbox pes5 is WORSE then the ps2 version online mode. That is really weird because xbox lives online is A LOT better then ps2 online system, and yet its worse. Now we have to wait for the ps3 online one, which is unproven, and frankly cannot compete with the 6 years of development that xbox live has gone through. Whatever the case he does prefer playstation, and 360 owners like you and me will have to wait till ps3 comes out so they can try and make a new game with good online.
Also the 360 pad is just as good as the ps3/ps2 one n my opinion. It takes time to get used to it if you are familiar with the ps2 one, but overall I find the 360 one better. However just as jonno said PES is made for the Playstation and the controls are made in mind for the dual shock 2 pad, so in theory it should always be better on the dual shock pad. The xbox1 was not good because of the placement of the black/white buttons. But triggers are better then buttons, and if they used triggers it could be used to determine how hard your lob shots are instead of having 2 buttons for the small lob and high lob. But because of the preference for the dual shock pad, we again have to wait for the new dual shock 3 pad, which does have triggers, before they can think of this.
