Wasn't Operation Stealth was it? I had that on Atari. Was awesome, even though I never got very far.

Nope, pretty certain that wasn't it. All I can remember is that you start in a locked apartment & have to work out how to get out & that it came on 4 floppy discs.

Remembered what the game was... it was DreamWeb. My fading memory didn't do it justice as the main protagonist was a bartender & not a detective :faceplm: In my defence, it was some time ago...

Early reviews of Dead Space 2 have been great. Heard the multiplayer is nothing special, but the single player more than makes up for it. Got it pre ordered.
BTW, for those who don't know, if you pre order the game on the ps3, you automatically get the Limited Edition, which gives you the Dead Space: Extraction game for free. This was the game that was released on the Wii, so it will be Move compatible.

Yeah it has been released, not sure about it being on a different engine though. Reviews I've read say it's an improvement on the xbox verison. I'm gonna hold out for that game. Too many good games coming out in a short space of time. Will wait to get ME2, because it's the type of game that needs full attention.

Oh Sminky, I've read that there is a Killzone 3 open beta starting 3rd of Feb.

I'm going to get shot of Fallout: New Vegas and the guide book to grab Mass Effect 2. Sounds too good not to buy.

The open beta, is it different to what I have already? I've had the beta demo since early November 2010.

Pretty sure the ps3 release has all the dlc with it. Though, whether you'd call it "free", is another matter. Since our version costs £40 now, can probably get the xbox360 version plus pay for all the dlc, and still have it come to the same price.... but then, that's being a bit picky.

I guess 40 sheets isn't so bad bearing in mind I expected the VAT rise to pushing gaming prices north of 50 quid.

Still, I'll get at least 15-20 quid for FNV and the guide book so not all bad.

ME3 comes out this winter, simultaneously on 360,PS3 and PC.

I received it on Wednesday but not got round to playing it yet. Haven't even played RDR and I bought that in October. :faceplm:
