i dont think this is big enough to close konami down, i just expect them to get a bit of flack for making a bad game and feel the pressure to pull their fingers out their arses for next one, and in the terms of ps2 version i thought in terms of looks they had it good on pes6, players looked like who they were supposed to be, have you had a look at ronaldinho? its appalling how bad he looks and alot of other players. i expected them to at least change some of the gameplay i.e keepers hacking you down and you for once would get something, keeper off etc, and the boots are a big issue for me too, why couldnt they put edit boots in? u know the ones where u piece number 5 together and get nikes etc? i feel cheated

Sunny is right guys.

We can all expect crappy games, its comes with the teritory of being a gamer but when it is a major franchise like Pro Evo this is something different. Konami have the money and resources to fix the majority of the problems with a patch but as of yet have not told us when it will be coming. Ask yourself the question why the asian version is flawless in terms of lag?? Because Konami know that if they released the version we got they would have their home market banging on their doors!

Now ask yourself as a loyal customer to Konami for 7yrs (as pro Evo) why shouldn't I be kept informed of when the patch is coming? They could even just give us a month and we would be happy with that but what have we got....nothing!

I urge you guys to write to watchdog and forget all of these other gaming websites that claim to have the inside scoop about the release of the patch. Lets hear it from the hosres own mouth.

 nice one!

Seriously, this is not the first underwhelming release on the PS3 and certainly won't be the last. I'm sure all the lovers of WWWWWE or whatever it's called this year will be dissapointed with a reduced roster, the same iffy collision detection. BUT, fans will still buy it.

I admit i had high hopes for the new PES and was a litle dissaapointed by what i've received. BUT IT'S STILL A GOOD GAME.

I'm not hankering for any money back as i waited for the reviews first. I knew what i was buying into.

The price drop is an arse. Fair enough.

Watchdog, what a load of fucking shite. 'Oh err... excuse me, I bought this game and err... I don't particularly care for it. Can you get me some money please? Oh, and I'd like to keep the game too, despite my dislike of it, just to undertmine my whole argument, if that's OK?' Honestly, the bollocks some people come out with on here.

Fair enough, it's not a great game, I think we'll all admit that. But it's not a bad enough game that we need to contact the fucking BBC demading our money back.

Haha, I Agree
dose anyone really think they will get a refund an still be able to keep the game?
i highley doubt it, b'coz konami will lose all of the sales, even the people who love the game will take it back jus to get 50quid back! lol
well i kno i would.

Wow pes fans are hardcore. How many poor sequels have EA released?
I don't remember there ever being such a huge uproar over a poor game. Sure I am a little dissapointed by it all but I do think the message has hit home. Dropping the price after barely a few weeks had to have an impact on Konami and would open their eyes. This also applies to the customer, we will all be more careful the next time around.

If you got involved with a partition which acted on your behalf would you take part? Some people would be like what do you get in return… how about this! What if that small amount it could be a free game! I,e pro 2009 or some kinda of money back towards konami products would you take part it in er I think you would and so will other people.. then you properly thinking why would konami do this… er… playstation sold their consoles with a TV! So to bring back their supported don’t you reckon taking part in this partition will infact help in your defence that you bought a shit game, kept the game and stayed loyal to them… If I was Konami.. I would be like, if all those people who contributed in the partition will receive next years version for free, I think I rather have my voice heard wouldn’t you?

And another thing your properly thinking ok so what about those who bought it and never got involved in this! Konami aint dum! We expressed our selves and got the result! They proberly do the same! But let me tell you... its people like US consumers who stand for their rights! We bought the game and expect it to be delivered NO FLOORS!

Honestly mate, you can send all the letters you like to Watchdog, nothing will happen. They wouldn't be concerned with something as trivial as this. We've only really been ripped off from our point of view; Konami promised a game, not an excellent, bug free game. And lets face it, every PES has had flawes, I'd have thought people would come to expect that by now.

The demise of Konami??? Thats laughable! Do you know how big Konami are!?!

Even though the patch is now out there are still serious issues with the online play that other games simply do not suffer from. If there is a mention on Watchdog tonight I hope you doubters and disbelievers don't start jumping on the bandwagon saying you were behind the protest all along!

The whole point of our letters to Watchdog is to make the whole computer game industry realise that some gamers just aren't willing to accept unfinished games. The computer game market is the third biggest media market in the world and as such it seems to have got so big that some developers have lost the sense of what makes a decent game.

Even if nothing happens I would at least like to feel like I tried to stop the barrarge of shit that comes out these days. After all WE are the mugs buying the shit whilst they carry on basking in the sunshine.

Congrats. Nothing'll happen. Take it back, trade it in, or leave it on the sideboard as a reminder to READ REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASE.

This is getting fucking silly now. The game is alright for god sake.

Thank you ads. Bit 'o common at last. ;)

I did read the reviews for your information. In fact I probably read a lot more and researched the game more than you before it was released! I even got rid of my Xbox 360 and bought a PS3 just for this game under the impression that it would be superior. Where do you think I found that out I wonder???

I understand your point of view, I really do, but sometimes it does no harm in shaking things up a bit. Its an ok game, but still has big problems.

At the end of the day you're welcome to your opinion but don't expect others to have the same view as you. And before you say that Sunny and I are trying to influence your opinion we're not. We're actually trying to talk to the people that feel the same way as us and that would like some clarification as to why the game went so badly wrong and what the future holds for PES2008 in terms of updates.

I think some people expect too much, yeah of course new features and advanced editing would be brilliant but the gameplay is still brilliant.

Personally I love the game, yeah it's disappointing since it's on next gen we all expected a bit more, but to even think about complaining to this level is ridiculous.

I think some people may need a bit of perspective on it, now don't get me wrong, Pro Evo is still Pro Evo and I absolutely love it, but at the end of the day it's only a fucking game. If you're that pissed off, fair enough, play Fifa or any other shitty football game, but for fuck sake, stop trying to get everyone to take part in stupid boycotts.

I agree, if you don't like don't play it!
