any match that a player plays can improve thier teamwork stat. pre-season matches allow new players to improve their teamwork ability before the start of the season and will therefore play better in the first few matches of the season.

I usually don't bother with friendlies but I might give them a try in my next season of ML.

I play pre-season friendlies. You get to see how good your ML team is against other teams which you rarely paly.

you get some transfer points from friendlies too, it can be helpful if you're desperate but i usually skip them.

I play them to generate atmosphere, and possibility of injuries and whatnot. Just for realism.

Yeah i play them most of the time. Mainly since it helps get any new player's teamwork stat up before the start of the season.

i play them to test new tatics and or gibe new players a copule of games so i can get use to them

yea i just signed 5 new players: Yobo, Appiah, Di vaio, Van der meyde, Rothen. gona try em and raise their teamwork usin the pre-season matches. well i chose hamburg, perugia, and panathanaikos

I'll normally play against teams that have players I'm interested in buying. It's a good way to preview them without actually exiting your ML mode and playing friendlies using them. Also, if the computer can play well with a player, and make him stand out, then there's a pretty good chance that he isn't bad.

Its good if your about to go broke and you need to keep the game running, you can earn some ML points to bring you above zero becuase we all know what happens when you finish a season with less than zero ML points
