Any one else suffering?
I get lag every game and is really putting me off playing as i only have one decent half when im the host.

the other half its basically just prey you dont concede cos its so laggy the players do afwul touches, ball bounces miles away and it goes super fast!

i even make sure when i connect to people that they have the full >>>> green arrows which says in book perfect connection but to no avail as there is still lag :(

ive got a 2mb connection and even when playing people with 2-6mb connections i still get lag and i dont understand why, i ask them afterwards and they say both halves were perfect for them so i dont understand what is going on!

ive done speed tests on my PC and im getting 200-230 kb sec so ive got full 2mb

All my other online games are fine aswel
Anyone got the slightest of ideas why?

I have the exact same problem. It's driving me mad. I did play some dude in Spain this afternoon and it was perfect . . . before he or me disconnected.

I don't get it. Any advice out there? It really is spoiling it

Make sure all players are only using their connection for the match. People forget that they or someone else on the network are downloading or uploading files. If that is all stopped, it should run ok.

I've had the same problem, and i know other people have too. The lag seems to be gettin worse over the past few nights.

How do i check my upload speeds?

ive played over 30 odd games now and ive not had one lag-free game and surely 1 out of that 30 would of just been using their connection for the match

This is why they never wanted to release online options for PES5 for the PS2, it simply crap. but there was such a big demand for it they put it in.

yep its a dirty lag, but I have played most of my games in the early hours of the morning and tend not to have too many problems with lag, if you think that there are now more than 22000 people registered, and obviously all do not play at the same time, but I bet those that do all play during the same hours, which I would say was 6-12 pm. Maybe it is this causing the problem.

I also get lag every now and again but not very often. But when it happens I get so frustrated that I could f¤#%ing kick three shades of shit out of my TV (whilst it complains that its 'not my fault guvnor). Christ, lag is enough to give a man a heart attack, losing points to some player that wouldn't have a chance otherwise.........

No lag on Xbox Live but i only play my friend who lives ten minute drive away also we both have 3MB download/300K upload:)

i just opened up my modem and in the little tab called ADSL it says transmit (Kbps) 288

is that my upload speed? 288k?

I've only had a bit of lag on one game and it stoped after half time. Doesn't realy bother me.

Totally agree the first few days was perfect but its getting worse. Exactly the same one half perfect second half naff. ruining the damn game-its got to be there servers getting more traffic(me attempting to be technical)lol. seems wuite a few having the same prob!!!!

yeah ive noticed the quality is starting to get worse and worse. The first week all was well with hardly any lag, and the lag that was there was very shortly. Now though every non hosted half is crap and pretty much pure luck whether you survive. Passing, shooting, hell even running in the right direction seems impossible. My connection is 6mb/1mb so that shouldnt be a problem ( nothing on network when playing, no downloads, no data progs running like outlook, ect)

Im guessing its people using their connection when playing, just a shame it seems to be every game now :(. And you can tell your side isnt lagging as they , in my games, can pass the ball about and dribble with the fluency you can when hosting.

DOWNSTREAM 846 Kbps (105.8 KB/sec)
UPSTREAM 237 Kbps (29.6 KB/sec)


So does that mean im not getting the FULL 2mb i should be
105.8 - is that more 1mb connection im getting?

1mb would be 1024Kbps
2mb would be 2048Kbps

It also depends on where you are and what site you use. Im in holland and if i use a uk site for speed tests its slower then when i use a dutch site.

connection is fine nobody ever gets full speed they pay for, must be the other people you are playing making your games lag.
here my speed test,i have 3MB:

U know what, I think some people are makin the games lag on purpose. I was playin the other day, the game was fine until i took the lead late on, then all of a sudden it just started laggin terrible. I think the bloke i was playin, jsut started downloadin somethin on his computer just to try and kock me up. Still baet him, sad bastard.
