[PS3] Patch 1.20 out now

What pisses me the most about the update is that I dont have broadband.. wait my continent doesn't have freakin broadband, so I am left out and I am blacklisted from any upcoming option file because users without the patch cannot share files with users with the patch!

What happend to the days when developers sold COMPLETE games?!

Africa! I am actually a UAE national (studied in the US/UK) but I work in Tanzania, which is a fantastic place, dont get me wrong, we've got cheap weed, amazing food, terrific beaches! But we dont have broadband internet. PES was released in Dubai as early as the 15th where my wife picked it up for me. And truely I love it! But this whole update thing pisses me off as OFs will no longer work for those who dont have the updates. I am now forced to use pre-patch OFs and update them manually.

Ain't there a way to put the updates on your PS3 through a USB stick? Obviously, you would have to download it elsewhere, but at least you can make the updates

I have been reading some other forums and apparently the patch is due to be re- relesed if you like on the 3rd of November. Not sure how accurate that is but have read it on two forums

s'only a couple of days....people need to relax more, i was given the option to update but didnt cos i didnt know if it would ruin the option file i had installed and when i read that it would not i went back on and it was gone!!! least you guys never had the option haha i turned it down!! be reet in the long run.

However, I enjoy the game too and totally understand, but you must also be aware that any game will never be problem free, and it is better for it to be resolved after release than never at all, the fact that you guys do not have access to broadband, which I am sure that you could have via satelite if you was willing to pay the cost, should'nt make you feel in any way about this issue.

So far no bro there isn't! I actually emailed Konami last yer on the possibility of making a patch for PES2008 downloadable via PC/USB, but they said thats not possible. Oh well, manual editing! BTW you're from Holland, I spent 6 months in the Hague (Schvenningen, excuse the spelling), I love your country!

Is their a way for people who want to get rid of the update is to

1 backup their potionfile etc
2- delete the game data file not the saved one.
3- to then reload the game and let it put the game data back with the first update?

Too bad about the fact that downloads via the PC are not supported. It doesn't make sense to me..
