very interesting and correct post PES has gone even more backwards than the previous edition.

So, in retrospect.. you like pes2009 better than pes2010, and pes2008 better than both?

2008 was actually playable and i enjoyed it. Kept it and played it online all year. 2009 was sooo clunky, stiff, arcadey and unrealistic i almost had to inject myself with a lethal injection to stop the flashbacks.

I hear ya. I'm still able to enjoy it, in spite of the brutal fouls that don't get called, the lack of penalties, the way the ball often ricochets around like a pinball, and the fact that it sometimes looks more like the Keystone Cops than it does world class football.

And I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I find that these adjustments help:

The offense is more aggressive, with better spacing, and will actual loft the ball over the defense more realistically. And the backline will engage the oncoming attack a little more.
