I'll tell you what's annoying about every EA Rugby game is that they're all diabolical, they may be entertaining for around five minutes - one hour, then it goes rapidly downhill. It is, unsurprisingly, exactly the same as Fifa in its problems... that's not rugby. The greatest rugby game was Jonah Lomu back in the day but that was only because it was simple and the standard hadn't been set for sports games.
Until someone with a similar passion for rugby as Seabass has for football then there's only going to be this drivel on the market. When you can't even be bothered to ensure the rules are correctly implemented you know it's time to give up. EA are unsurprisingly cashing in on the World Cup and ergo I refuse to buy the game.
It's a shame more people don't give these games a miss, then perhaps EA may decide to put a little more effort into production rather than churn out, at best average games.
