I honestly think it's after turning a cornor going by what I've seen even without play testing it myself. It's like this, if PES is even 75% back to it's normail standard we should all start getting very excited.

God knows this auld haunt could seriously do with it, the forum has had nothing to work with for years except shite and people moaning about how bad the game is. (Me been one on them)

take a look at that video, there you can get a glance at some of the new stadiums if you pause it and observe.

looks like the stadium creator is not what most of you thought it would be like, so i do not think you will be able to create white hart lane like or stamford bridge like some you thought you would, as i see it. looks like its limited to slots and you can only implement what only on the slots.

I've seen this video and compared with some other pictures/vids that have come forth these days (sorry - but I really can't find links, 'cos I've gotten lost in the info-stream as of late...). From what I've gathered, then you'll be pretty much able to create almost any stadium, since I BELIEVE that I've seen a lot of different templates for what kind of stand you want. I won't put my head on the block though - since I haven't seen it all together yet - but so far, I believe that you can create almost any stadium, or at the very least - a close resemblance.

This is my oppinion - not something to try and create a huge hysteria... ;o)

No we cannot say the same for FIFA. It has spent the last 3 years improving!

Regardless, this is no time for another PES v FIFA debate. Especially as you seem to think 2003 was a good year  Too much is being made of the footage released so far. Too much will no doubt be made of the demo.

Lets see how it turns out once it's on general release & we've all had time to pick holes in the gameplay...

If i shit on your yard. Then take some of the shit away as a gesture, there is still shit on your yard. Thats fifa the last 6 years, got better, but its still complete and utter crap.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhmcjbQDYog&feature=related How the fuck has fifa got better since this game? anybody that really knows football knows fifa is terrible

Pro evo is taking its crown back. Fifa is for 3 year olds

If you shit on my yard then I'd likely force you on Barndoor for a good rimming.

So you don't like FIFA... fine. Your specific likes/dislikes are not the issue here. The general impression of FIFA is that it has taken steps forward, whereas PES has unfortunately stuttered, faltered and generally bumbled through the current generation on consoles.

I certainly hope it does. Up until 2008 I was a staunch PES fan, but in 2008 things went bad. 2009 didn't improve matters. The freedom given by FIFA10's 360 dribbling showed the way, but despite PES2010's bold statement, once again they only gave us half a job.

As for FIFA being for 3 year old's. That's your opinion. You are more than entitled to it. Despite it being wrong...

why is iaquinta and cannavaro and the old Italy team roster still in this game? Where is Balotelli, Cassano and the new squad?? I hope they update this by the release of the game!

In my experience Pes games have never been 100% to date with the linups and transfers when it is released but I simply don´t care because everyone uses option files from the community and most of them have all the squads correct + the right team names, player names, league names and so on and so on.

In fact I would´t care if Pes only had the license for the champions and vefa cup.

Don't think Konami will update international squads later on. If you paid attention in the past, they always use exact squads from the Euros and World Cups. From the looks of things in the videos the squads match the World Cup squads once again. This is great for me as now I can play a proper World Cup in Pes 2011. I don't see a need for them to update the international squads as from now until the start of Euro 2012 the squads will be different in every qualifier/friendly anyways.

^yeah but they shouldn't put players that decide to retire from the national team after a competition.

It's just how they've always done things. Many people including myself like it that way because we get to play a proper World Cup/Euro which is why they keep the squads that way.

Oh - by the way!
For those of you who still think the goalkeepers are shite in PES - maybe they looked a little too deep into this vid.:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipRQ73nkN6E

And in fact - a whole lot of these clips are from some of the best keepers in the world like Schmeichel and Buffon etc. ;o)
Also; just think back at the world cup in South Africa, at how many goalkeeper mistakes there were - maybe PES isn't so far off!? ;o)

ya I could update them for offline, but what about online? I have to be stuck playing with iaquinta again? LOL

It's looking a lot more fluid than 2010, which is making me interested in getting the demo. Just hope they've fixed a few issues which are still pissing me off from PES1.

From PES1, players still seem to just randomly stop mid-run when they get tackled or the ball gets taken off of them. It's so frustrating. And a correction, PES was my cup of tea, as of late I've seen it as an absolute dire attempt at a football game and I'm really hoping it gets back on par with the likes of PES4 and PES5 (I didn't play PES6 on the PS2, fyi)
