Scoring looks far too easy. Hopefully it'll be rectified before the game is released.

Yep and that's exactly what we wanted! I just hope we can turn the cut scenes off as they look awful.

They say you should never go back. I was a huge SWOS fan but give me PES any day.

I really think that people are missing the point, when has anyone ever said, 'this is better than pro evo'? It'll only be £20! They're not doing this to make money, theyre doing this because they can.

Thats fair enough but for me this game would only hold my interest for a couple of hours before the realism of PES5 draws me back. £20 for a quick fix of nostalgia doesn't cut it for me.

I think we'll be surprised. If its crap, no doubt I'll go back to PES after two hours as jamez said, but I honestly think it'll offer something different. We'll have to wait and see, I guess. I'm getting it on the day of release so I can let people know.

Anyone played the demo yet? Its great, gives you so much freedom of pitch, try it yourself!

It's PS2 only the PC demo isn't expected to be out until a couple of days before the June 9 release. By all accounts they've done an excellent job with it.

I played the PS2 demo last week. Very disappointed with the camera. When possession changes to the other team it flicks up or down so that the team that has the ball can see the passing options in front of them. But the way the camera flicks up and down was giving us headaches, especially when possession changed every couple of seconds.

Other than that, I thought it was almost the same as the classic SWOS. Keepers were quite poor though. And I've read there will be all fake names in the game which can be edited but appearances cannot be changed. Worth a few goes but could have been much better.

Maybe the full game feels different to the demo. We'll see.

Thanks for giving some opinions. I've been reading the Codemasters forum and previews on there also mention the camera, although goalkeepers were meant to be better now than they were when videos were recorded and released. Hmm...
