Stutter?

C'mon folks, let's get to the bottom of this stuttering problem. If you have a copy of the game that does/doesn't stutter, let us know the batch number and we can find out which copies are cocha.

It turns out that some people with batch B1 have encountered stuttering problems. From what I've worked out so far, A3 is the only batch number that doesn't stutter. This could change however with more feedback.

My WE7 does stutter but not when you turn off the commentary (possibly in conjunction with crowd settings).

Here's something from someone at pesfan:

So far, each of my copies of PES3 (three different ones so far) have all stuttered, although the last one was not nearly as bad as the first two.

My mate got his copy of PES 3 today, I asked him if there was any stutter. He said he didn't notice it, so I asked him to bring it round and try it on my PS2...

Popped his copy into my machine.....

N O S T U T T E R

Nothing. Not a flicker. Tried it with all settings up high, and honestly guys, it did not stutter one bit.

Put my copy back in....And we're back in stutterville. He couldn't believe it. Same settings, same machine, same option file, same teams, same stadium.

Tried it on his PS2, same thing happened - his copy ran fine, mines was a mess.

I am now 99% sure IT'S THE DISCS. There's a faulty/badly pressed copies out there, and if you've been unfortunate enough to land one of them I'd recommend you keep taking them back till you get a copy that doesn't stutter.

BTW The discs had identical batch numbers, so I've now dismissed my theory that there are different code versions out there.

Tonight, for the first time since Oct 17th I could ENJOY the game. It was pure footballing bliss.

Only thing is, my copy still stutters...but at least now I know I'll eventually get a stutter free copy 8)

Mine stutter

I have A0100482267-A511 and it stutters.

Last game I played exhibition with commentaries off and neutral crowd, and it didn't stutter once, for a change.

If many people have this problem, one should expect an official explanation from Konami.

I have the PC Demo and that stutters occassionally even with the detail turned down all the way and always when the crowd noises change.

Because there are no DVDs involved here and just my PC I think its got something to do with the PES3 code to be honest.

A Get rid wait pray for good disks

B Continue to play and pray you dont have a fit from the stutter..or yet still go mad because off it

Keep posting in this stutter thread!!! We need to keep complaining about this absolutly unforgiving big problem. I had three answers from konami via email, and the only reason they gave a damn was because I suggested they look in this foruns. First they told there was no stutter in the Main Copy. Then it had to be a problem with my ps2 or dirt on the disk. After theu looked in here the admited they would investigate and they would contact me with any development. Keep this thread on fire. If they see we are having doubts with the quality of this wannabe 10/10 then they might fix it. BUT WE HAVE TO KEEP TALKING ABOUT THIS EVERY DAY!!!

I never got an email from them, what email address did u use?

This is shocking, has anyone sucessfully returned a stutter copy for a FRESH NON STUTTER VERSION?

I want to know, as one GAME shop differs from abother about the return policy.

One GAME shop said they would test my copy to see if there was a problem, AYE OKAY THEN? and another says it would be happy to replace IT, provided I produce a receipt?

DO KONAMI REALISE HOW MANY COPY GET RETURNED TO THE SHOPS ETC

we do need to keep this thread going as Konami are staying very quiet on th eissue. I wonder if it has something to do with not wanting to ruin the Xmas market for the game??? This game should never have been released in the present state it is in. I took my copy back and got a refund on it. Konami are being very tight lipped and very 'no news' when surely it doesn't take long for a tester to find out whats going on?

I also think everyone should email the PS2 press like the official magazine. They can highlight the problem in an article and it will raise the profile.
