Why did we have to ruin it and play that last game? I would have stuck around but the power went again.
Before that we had the 7-2, 10-1, and 5-4 over very good opposition. I think me as the lone striker with DC and another supporting on the right works well. Me and DC seem to have a good understanding. The 10-1 was possibly my best performance ever, 4 goals, 4 assists.
That 10-1 match, I scored a header at the back post, but have no idea how, there were so many bodies. Shame someone skipped the replay. I thought I scored some great headers last night, especially the first equalizer in the 5-4 game.
Also that over the shoulder volley was magnifique.

Two of my games last night were at RCM and in both I got ratings of 10 :smug:
I'm not staying there though, I'm back to RF when I'm next on - feeling like Didier Deschamps in midfield isn't the world's best feeling. The games I was involved in were excellent. Left before the last one so no idea what happened.

BarnDoor, I was very happy with our performance in that 10-1 match. We worked very well together which I think is evidenced by us scoring 9 of the goals between us and providing 6 assists. I must say that match was the highlight, but my last gasp winner in the 5-4 battle was particularly satisfying.
The 0-0 draw and 7-1 loss we had at the end were both disappointing, seeming somewhat doomed from the get go. I don't think we would have scored in the 0-0 draw if we had played for another half an hour. It was one of the first times I've felt like there was a script to the match, we utterly dominated but everything conspired against us.
You were good at RCM, but I think you would have been better at RF. Dragonfly did well, but I think he would have been better in midfield than he was at RF.
Don't worry... I berated you sufficiently when you lobbed a through ball that I strongly felt should have been played across the ground!
Though if in doubt, try and keep it on the deck if possible.

Don't forget the 3-0 victory, the only clean sheet I kept last night. I thought we were gonna get thrashed in the 5-4 win when we went 3-1 down as they had 7 players, all charging at my defence and I was struggling. After going 3-1 up they seemed to start playing like Spurs, lacking confidence in themselves and bottling it. We were unlucky with some of the goals though, especially the first one, the long throw goal.
Dragonfly should be in midfield and Sweey as RF as there were a few times where I hadn't a clue what Dragonfly was doing when he'd just start running in front of Original? leaving Original? with no passing options.
How many headers did you win from my long balls Barn? I can't remember a time when you didn't win a header actually.
Haha, yeah I heard you swearing like mad when Sweey lobbed the ball to you. I would have left my mic on but it seemed to lag the game for me and for you too it seemed, so I turned it off.

I seem to try that sexy through ball Totti himself would go for. I even made an audacious chip over the defence to DF from the edge of the area in an early game last night which he almost finished off when I frankly should have shot instead.
The mistakes do register the moment I make them so eventually I'll stop making the wrong choice.
I much prefer RF because I can get involved in attacking plays. RCM means I start off a move and then wait for it to potentially go wrong. Don't mind playing there occasionally but I much prefer attacking roles.
The reason I didn't take the lone striker role is because I absolutely hate it. Maybe it won't be so bad with two fairly central runners either side of me so I'll perhaps try it next time it comes up but generally I like to do my damage around the area (which is why I've started peeling to the edge of the area at corners in the hopes of picking up a defensive clearance).

Yes, the 5-4 win was a great demonstration of fighting until the last. I should add though that I think you were excellent as ANY last night.
Barn did lose a few headers but he was far more effective than me at winning them!
Haha, apologies if my language offended your sensibilities... I have a tendency to use profanity when playing PS3.
I have to say, the additional five points I have in Stamina after reducing my weight (and losing some of my heading ability) is a God-send. I feel like I can run around like a headless chicken for 80 minutes before I'm tired.

Phat was indeed excellent on ANY. What I liked was that he was not afraid to go route one with the keeper, being as I most often win the headers up top. Dragonfly I think you had a tendency to throw it out, and I think our game works best with a quick thrust forward than patient build-up play.
The 5-4 game, my 3-3 equalizer was memorable, when I bundled it past the keeper and collapsed as it trickled over the line. Shame the time wasting routine in the corner was a complete embarrassment.
Original? that 0-0 was a real pisser, I thought they were going to nick it the way it was going. When Dragonfly had that shot off the bar, my guy would have scored the rebound had he not been brutally taken out by the keeper. As you said it just wasn't meant to be.
Also that one goal when I put in a high chipped ball and Original headed it in was a stand-out, I can't believe that actually came off.
