Notes from last night:
- Me on any works once in a blue moon, especially if I have someone else at CB with me.
- sdred has to take manual passing off or leave the club.
- Fab missed more chances last night that he has in the past two weeks, it certainly wasn't going his way last night.
- None of us played at our best and we were incredibly unfortunate at times.
- I score more free kicks than anyone, except Dragonfly who is pretty good if I remember rightly.

Oh yeah.........
Last night I was one-on-one with the goalkeeper and passed it left. There were two of you there, Original? you were one and the other was either Fab or Phats. One of the two stumbled on it, the other ran into him, ultimately we didn't score and I was rolling my eyes wondering why I'd gone for percentages rather than just taking the shot myself given that I was running in at an angle and could've gone for the corner.
The question I want to ask is: at the very moment I played the pass and not afterwards did it look like I'd made a huge mistake or did it look mostly like a run-of-the-mill situation?

This happened when we were playing the 4-3-1-2 system so it was me and Phatmann. The pass was the right thing to do, unfortunately it was a little behind me and rather than take it in his stride or leave it he decided to let it him on the back of the heels taking it away from Phatmann. It was one of those things, I couldn't get out of the way but you did nothing wrong. It was the right decision but the gods of Fifa were against us... as they were all last night.
Hmmm...I accept my passing was minging last night, but less to me being on manual and more to being off form, I think such an ultimatum is a little uncalled for. I dont want to get in to the finger pointing game, but it was obvious in the games we lost we were bad in all areas; if we would have lost all the games because of my passing I would hold my hands up, but it wasn't the case.
Defensive line, yeah I was hanging too deep last night, it is much easier when you have human CB next to you cause they generally take up better positions. was trying to sweep too much, my bad.

You can appreciate that playing in CM and no being able to pass will disrupt the team a lot. That said I don't care whether you use manual passing or get your dog to handle the controller while you send him telepathic signals, if your passing is up to scratch it doesn't matter. The point is if you can't use manual passing or your dog doesn't have the required dexterity or opposable thumbs don't try playing that way. It was, however, a lot more accurate tonight and if you keep it that way then no complaints.
Also, I was under the impression you were a random addition, as you're a member of the site then it's different. You have a fair shout to be in the club.

Think we had 3 teams DC on us didn't we? And that last game :faceplm: some of the finishing was woeful.
Until i squared it to original on that 1-on-1 (a split second later and you'd have been offside lol) I had a feeling we were gonna lose it because of not being able to hit the back of the net.

To be honest they moved their wall so far in I didn't even have to clear it, it probably wouldn't have gone in otherwise. They must have sensed I was shit.
Yeah your crossing was very good in that last game Jonno, shame we couldn't stick them in. Aside from a missed header in that game, I was very pleased with my heading all night, seemed to have got back into the swing of things.

I think we all had chances in the last games first half and just couldnt score. We were bombarding them at one point.
Heading seems to be hit and miss, more random than skill imo(no offence barn as I know you wank off over yourheading ability). There was one ball where it went in on a more or less open goal, originals guy was standing there and it looked the world to be a simple nod in, and it wentwide. Not through lack of player skill, more randomness again imo.

Heading in this game is seriously messed up. I'm 5'7 and in some games I'm unstoppable at flicking it on from goal-kicks. In other games, I can't win a single one of them and there's no consistency in relation to the height of the opposition.

No, fair point, I wouldn't want my way of play effecting the team, I did start the first game in manual, after a minute (two astray passes) I put it back to assissted, it is the time required to put on the required power that is a big problem also, it is to easy to get caught in possesion.
Random...been a member longer than you, just not that gobby..lol
BTW I thought we looked quite solid with three at the back
