Listen up, I've started building up my player in the manager mode and he's a shit 68 rating atm, am I going to have to use this donkey if I have a game with you lot or do they have a separate online player you need to build up while playing online?

I would love some retaliatory abuse from irked gamers on here.

I need 3 more volleys to get to 25 for my career (still have to score one on world class/online from outside, and get two in two successive games), but even on semi-pro it's a chore, as my VP insists on heading it most of the time. That and the opposition defenders are really repulsively good, sticking with me rather than going to the ball.

The 400 goals one is just absurd, no one is getting that (save hardcore fags).

What's yer average VP rating lads and what is classed as a good standard online?

Mine's 80. If I had to guess an average it'd be around 77/78. The highest are Original's, who has a rating of 86, I think (where's Original? been lately btw?), and Barndoor's, who has a rating of 84. As for a good online standard, I don't think it really matters that much - as long as you're intelligent on the ball and play for the team, I'm not sure it makes a huge difference, honestly. I suppose a higher rating just allows you to be slightly more accurate and slightly quicker.

Dundon's it's critical to know you will be shit at first and we'll all hate you for it but stick at it and you'll be alright.

Thought we did really well tonight. We came up against some really tough opposition, but still managed to win all but one of the games - and we even played pretty well in the one we lost.

The 5-4 was hard to take against that team with nine, especially after going 4-3 up.

Since I disconnected at 4-4 I will pretend the result stayed that way.

I also thought we played very well as a team, some good goals scored.

The frustrating thing about the 5-4 defeat, is that when we went 3-2 and 4-3 up, we let them equalise from their first attack after kick off.

Thought Bammers really bossed the midfield in that game though. He played some great through passes that led to goals.

dundon, also depends on who your playing against of course and how good you are but the thing is if you keep it simple it doesnt matter what your rating is.

Right, I had a loan of the game for a few days and after playing the ring off it I decided to say fuck it, and bought the bastard. First fifa I purchased since the very first one they released on the PS1.
