Needing just the one point from our final league game to win promotion back to Division 1, we find ourselves 2-0 up and absolutely cruising with little less than 20 minutes left to play.

Then a message pops up, I think to myself "ha, they ragequit".

I read the message; my teammate lost connection to the EA servers, therefore we forfeit the game and lost 3-0 by default, meaning we miss out on promotion.

It certainly did.
Does not do it justice.
We played some great football last night.
Now that fat Barn is back the team plays more football because we can't abuse our forwards pace with constant lobbed through balls.

Gilly you're good at making those Sweey-like runs to the near post when I put those crosses in. You were lucky not to get a second like that last night.

Should have got two near post headers in one match but their keeper made a mint save and the next time I hit the bar. Both were more or less identical.
The goal where you crossed for one of my goals was brilliant and my favorite goal up to now. Made a darting run and the ball came in just while I was onside and left their defense looking like mugs.

Just awful last night. Me, Joel a Phatmann played one more and played well but it was just an absurd the match.
We absolutely hammered them and had so many opportunity's but there keeper was like superman. You just got a feeling during the match that it wasn't going to happen.

During my time playing clubs we are either shit hot or just shit. There seems to be no middle ground.

In our last game I noticed that the CPU seemed to be a bit more on the ball which seemed to be down to me putting it on attacking. This made the defenders a bit more urgent when it came to tackling but also left us susceptible to counter attacks which eventually cost us. If we had converted the chances we had and if we had a few more in midfield we probably would have been fine. It might be worth putting it on attacking early in the first half to see if we can get a quick goal then put it back on balanced or defensive once we're in front.

I often put it on defensive when we're ahead (depending on the quality of the opposition), but I'll try starting with attacking.
