^I agree about animations that's why it's from the 50% build.

Finally someone positive.

As for R9NALD9
Look deeper instead of slating.
That's your problem, you judge without looking deeper.
It is from the 50% build. I am almost 100% positive at least according to wenb.
As for the gameplay. It looks like pes 09, but look deeper. The liverpool defence closed in much better and players don't "glide all over the pitch". Also the speed is slower (not by much, but it is slower).

Let him say what he wants to say.

Look, the last couple of games have been shit, and this gameplay in that vid doesnt look amazing, so he is right to be skeptical, simple as.

Yes, the tactics look good, and yes im sure they work instantly, but the overall gameplay we saw doesnt look great.

Next week better be major improvements.

They need a good game, Konami.
As do we. If it is the fans game, we spend alot on games, we expect great results.

Btw pre order PES 2010 on amazon for £20.

clearly from an older build Ign say they are considering ditching fifa this year for pro having played the latest code and they scored pro 2009 7.2 and Fifa 09 8.9, so the new code must be better. i am keeping the faith. I love the positive guys, i will only become negative once i have played it or maybe the demo

wasnt aware that ign said that

gotta link?

From what I've seen until now it's PES 2009 with nice graphic and few changes,I don't have why to be optimistic about this...
Konami talk much and do few.Next week we'll find out the pure truth.

guys also i think this is the pc version, i think it has many differences between ps3 version!

There's no difference between PC and PS3 versions.

^So you played the new build? And it was much better? Great.
Tech and ronaldo, you need to understand that the game was at 50% and animations weren't in yet, they were there, but not in the build (50% one) that the testers played.

I think you need to understand how to read

I said this before you jumped in.

It might just be the vid in june but with a more in depth explaination of the sliders, and im pretty sure they are gonna add some mo cap animations on top of this.

Good try though

IMO Konami were never going to release anything new days before Gamescon. This video was released purely to show the new tactics and card systems will be used in play and how your changes effect the way the team plays. I'm really hoping the latest build from Gamescon has a lot more improvements in the game engine but I wouldn't be in shock if it hasn't changed. From the reports recently it seems to be improved to I'm quite upbeat.

Btw, both PES2008 and PES2009 had untucked shirts, the difference being in those games you couldn't choose it in the edit player menu and it happened automatically during the game. Plus its already been confirmed that untucked shirts will be an option in edit player in PES2010, which is nice.

Can i just say.

I couldnt give a fuck about untucked shirts.

Next gen gameplay is what the game needs.

We might be getting more info in about 20 mins, stay tuned.

It'll be from the noobs forum or offical press release.
