PES3 headers are far away from being realistic IMO, the same with WE7, which are even worser. PES3 headers are also to easy to score. WE7:I both headers and crosses are much harder, which means that they look great and realistic, but it also means that it´s easier to hit the goal than in WE7. Nevertheless IMO it´s not as easy to score with a header as in PES3.

Cos my buddy and I always get together, edit a new team, play ML, set to hardest and play against the machine. After 4 seasons, after we aquired the top players, we were scoring like nobody's business and got tired of the game after 2 months...

Keepers have the same AI like in WE7 I think, haven´t seen any differences, which means they´re better than in PES3.
To answer your question toopidpaka, the fact is, we don´t have the game long enough to rate that objective, most of us have played WE7 since the release, we got used to it, and WE7:I Jap has some gameplay changes which require some time, the game is focused more on passing than on dribbling, I would say, overall, it seems that both games are on the same difficulty level when played on 4* or 5*.
I think the same thing which happend to you and your friend in ML on WE7 will happen again on WE7:I, maybe you´re just to good

Actually, we did tried to play solo when we 1st bought it. But we were unable to win... cos the AI does not do much off the ball running. That's why we teamed up and were able to do better thru' passes and lobs for one another to chase...

larsson, did u notice the AI for defenders are pretty weak, which causes a lot of openings for strike for easy goals??

One more thing to mention: Offsides are called much faster in WE7:I.

I think defensive AI is improved, people will always be complaining, first they´ve moaned about the fact that players don´t move much without ball in WE7 and now they´re complaining that defense AI is to weak. It happens that there are gaps in the defense but it´s only realistic I think.

that sounds good, plus i think manual switch and using double team will probably solve that problem..
maybe it happens because w/ the faster ball speed, computer defenders has less time to figure out the best running route, to intercept or chase, ect..
konami has to simplify their code a bit in order to let them start moving in time..

WE7:I doesn't import the Club flags from WE7 even there's such an option. It's frustrating to see van Nistelrooij playing with the trad bricks logo on the trunk.
Finally I have the game, I must say what a GREAT game. So much better then WE7 and thats due to the fact the AI is so much better! I started a match AC Milan - Parma ( I was AC Milan) I lost 4-0 on 4*!!! Unbelieveable, in WE7 I would kick Parmas ass so hard!
Dribbling is harder to do indeed but also the AI is really trying to get you off the ball. The AI isnt following you everywhere but will tackle you when they can! Also the AI is also attacking so much more in WE7I compare to WE7, its a bit like pes3. The passing crossing, they are really trying to create chances. Now Im talking about crosses; crossing is also improved a lot! Now you really have a cross in the good direction, altough sometimes its still goes wrong, but most of the time it is going well. Graphics are also improved they are much sharper. Shooting is also improved, you can shot way outside the box but still have a nice and hard shot towards the keeper. Also saw a new Headeranimation! And this is all after one match! Really gotta play again!!
