Krookwk said:No, I thought if you wanted to include current players, why not include Freddie Ljungberg. But as you are not then the I suggest looking into these of the rest of the planet world cup players:
Erik Nilsson
Björn Nordquist
Bengt Gustavsson
Bo Larsson
Karl-Oskar Svensson
Sigvard Parling
Ralf Edström
Sven Rydell
Roland Grip
Ove Grahn
Krookwk said:Here's my list of 20 that I think should probably make the team, The ones with * by them are players that should definately be included. I couldn't think of another three who I would recommend, as my knowledge of Swedish players is somewhat limited. Here they are:
Ravelli (GK) *
P. Andersson (CBT, DMF) *
Orvar Bergmark (CBT)
Bengt Gustavsson (CBT, CBW)
Liedholm (OMF, CF, CMF) *
R. Nilsson (RMF)
Nordqvist (RB, CBT)
Brolin (OMF, WF, CF) *
Gren (CF) *
Hamrin (RWF) *
Schwarz (DMF, LMF)
K. Andersson (CF) *
Dahlin (CF) *
Nordahl (CF) *
R. Hellstrom (GK)
Skoglund (LWF) *
Thern (OMF, CMF, RMF)
Karl-Oskar Svensson (LB)
Bjorklund (CBT)
Ljung (LB)
Here's a suggested first team for them, obviously with such good attacking players, this is an attacking formation with two forward wingers supporting the strikers.
Ravelli (GK)
Nordqvist (RB) Gustavsson (CBT) P. Andersson (CBT) Svensson (LB)
Schwarz (DMF)
Liedholm (OMF)
Hamrin(RWF) Skoglund (LWF)
Gren (CF) Nordahl (CF)
I hope I haven't got many mistakes here, i'm a little rusty on some of the positions these players played, so forgive me if they're totally wrong.
Here's the players suggested from the Planet World Cup team which honestly I do not know much about so I haven't included them as suggestions, but should probably be looked into, they must have been good players:
Erik Nilsson
Bo Larsson
Sigvard Parling
Ralf Edström
Sven Rydell
Roland Grip
Ove Grahn
Lastly Gerd Muller, I realised there was a player called Mellberg who played in 1958 for the Swedish team who was a good striker. Did you mean him instead of the Aston Villa defender Olof Mellberg who's currently playing?
Anybody out there, let me know what you think of these suggestions....
Gerd_Muller said:I mean Olof Mellberg (Aston Villa) first of all
Your formation is good but, Is a 4-2-4 formation good???? Bengt Gustavsson was a MF and i thinked that we could change him to Bjorklund at the starting lineup.
Karl-Oskar Svensson was a GK as i sad before so we can put R. Nilsson there instead, We must have R. Edstrom in the team!(He was a swedish star at 1974) I could say more but i think i would say to much
any Thoughts???

Krookwk said:Most people think that the players of 20-30 years ago are not as good as current players, which just isn't so.
Krookwk said:Ok, firstly I just wanted to have as many of their top players in a formation, but obviously that isn't practical. So Gustavsson as a defensive midfielder & put Bjorklund in makes sense, I agree with that.
I don't think Mellberg should be included, I watch him every week for my team Aston Villa and although a good defender, I don't think he belongs here.
As for Karl-Oskar Svensson I was thinking of another player called Svensson who played LB. All the suggestions made sense, it seems you have a better idea than me. You have more ideas?
Ravelli (GK)
Nordqvist (RB) Bjorklund (CBT) P. Andersson (CBT) R. Nilsson (LB)
Gustavsson (DMF)
Liedholm (OMF)
Hamrin(RWF) Skoglund (LWF)
Gren (CF) Nordahl (CF)
Ravelli (GK)
P. Kamark (RB)Bjorklund (CBT)P. Andersson (CBT)R. Nilsson (LB)

guest501 said:the game has certainly evolved quite a bit, especially from the tactical and defensive end, from which one could argue that attackers had it a hell of a lot easier back then
pelé playing the brazilian league didn't face nearly as much pressure as maradona did in the italian league
but conversely you really can't dismiss the talent of the players that forced this defensive movement in the first place
Gerd_Muller said:look at this answers!!!! PES5
Q: Will created players be able to be registered to club sides??
Answer: Yes they now can, from the PES5 manual:
1. frome the player registration team, select the team of the player you are registering with a club
2. Align the cursor with the player you want to register and press the :x: button
3. Select the team you are registering with. Press the :x: button to finish the registration. The player is now able to appear in matches.
Q: Will you be able to make players who moved to teams not on the game free agents??
Answer: YES thankfully you can now release players who are no longer at a team in the game. Simply select them and Press :square: they are then put in a new section called unused. this only appears when you have released a player!
It´s for ps2
So we can Create Classic Sweden Over the (WE United or PES United)
Are that good News or is it not???!!
