I have not many time these days to post, but i promise you to post Kubala and Zito and maybe Dassaev before this week end.

Do you know that John Charles was nicknamed the Gentle Giant because he's never had yellox or red cards, very very good player
i thought about these player, if you can try to do them: Vladimir Beara(yougoslavia legend), Gyorgy Sarosi (hungarian legend), the northern irish Norman Whiteside.

You're right. I'm in two minds about whether to base their nationality on where they were born or who they played for internationally.

It's a bit confusing though, for example: Deco classed as Portugese (born in Brazil) & John Barnes classed as English (born in Jamaica). I guess it's down to interpretation.

Krookwk, good point. The breakup of the old Soviet bloc countries has complicated things, too -- Kanchelskis played for Russia, but he probably could have played for Ukraine or even Lithuania. Anyway, thanks for the latest ones. I have a few more players to post in a few hours.

Bryan Gunn & Iwan Roberts are in a class of their own, Norwich-class.

Just out of curiosity, who was Norwich's best player to play for them? (don't say Iwan Roberts!)

I'm trying to research Zdenek NEHODA but I all I know about him is how he looks, he was a hard-working centre forward & scored 31 goals in 90 internationals. Does anyone have any information about him? i.e. how he played, attributes, etc.?
